Yeah, I feel you, the Noah contract is indefensible above all else and we've discussed the rest of it too. I just have an outlook of, the team may have taken baby steps but it's maintained enough flexibility every time that they could clean up what doesn't work and keep what does. Had any of the previous experiments been a full success, the team would be in a position to make a move or two into being a contender because of that cautious; low risk, but lower chance of reward approach and now that we've hit "we actually have a pick" territory for the forseeable future, that incremental approach can actually yield better results.

Yeah, that's where I'm at right now. When you have your pick, on a team that isn't ready to contend, and have an empty cup board of young talent, another year of failure could've foreshadowed a brighter tomorrow. However, it seems as if we've lucked into being terrible, so outside of Noah, it wasn't crippling to our franchise

Phil made the mistake of taking Noah at his word whenit came to his health.

I'm not quoting that whole Ainge thing, cause it's long as f***, but it looks like a lot of "meh" with a couple of deals he really knocked out of the park
Similarly, I view Phil as a whole lot of "meh" with a couple of things he knocked out of the park (KP, Willy). The only "bad" move IMO is the Noah deal, everything else is just okay

Thanks to B.King, D.Ainge considered as a great gm now.
Last 5 year of Celtics doesnt look good to me without Nets picks. B.King was so dumb and Ainge robbed Nets.

Whole Ainge narrative can change quickly if they cant land a superstar FA or draft pick.,
-They may draft the wrong player.
-If they get 3rd pick they're going to settle with allstar caliber player instead of superstar potential.
-Even if they draft great player, he might get injured like Oden-Embiid-JAbari Parker
-I dont think they can get D.Cousins or G.Hayward from FA.

Dolan's reasoning for not ending his contract with phil is beyond stupid. We just have to suck it up for the next 2 years and hope for the best. I guess.

I have more faith in Phil than in anyone Dolan would hire

Ainge got Al Jefferson, Delonte West, and Tony Allen in a single draft. That's impressive.

Pjax has failed and folks keep making excuses for him. I know every fan base does it, but I don't get it.
