Pretty much. it's amazing what fame, fortune and the feeling of entitlement that naturally comes from it gets you. That's why I don't get too focused into personalities of athletes unlike a lot of other folks do. Couldn't care less what a player is like, what he believes, how he behaves off the court. All that matters to me is what he does on the court.

I'd like to keep Jennings tbh. He'd me a good mentor for whatever guard we draft. He plays in right way in terms of trying to get others involved. He's way more invested in KP's development than Rose.

Jennings is a top level tank commander. That's the only reason to keep him at this point, but looks like he's already on his way out. Hopefully we get a couple of 2nd's out of it.

I would think so as well...jennings has always been a weird dude though. He could be doing a Jennings thing and drumming up nonsense for no reason. Get twitter reaction...I wouldn't put it past him.

I don't believe so. But its surprising that no one on the media has even mentioned this as a possibility.

Whenever someone is a late scratch near the trade deadline usually there are some rumblings...nothing though...

He was definitely on the bench. He was sitting on the end next to Noah and he's so small that you couldn't see him during gameplay. According to Detroit fans he pulled a stunt like this every few months. Still could mean he's getting traded but, him deleting his twitter and instagram isn't new apparently.

Just this being New York there's always rumblings about players we're talking about trading even if the rumors aren't even true cause that's what the New York media does, but there hasn't been any rumors of any player being talked in trades besides Melo which surprises me. I can't believe that so far we haven't heard any rumors with D.Rose's name in it cause he's the guy we really need to trade.

Jennings might be the easiest player to move - making 5 mil, expiring, productive, comes off the bench - but is also one of the lowest priorities

We should be trying to bring him back on a similar deal longer term

He's not about to light up the league but he's a serviceable backup no matter what our long term plans are

Unless we land a better piece for the future or a real pick we shouldn't move him

He's from Compton, he played high school ball at Oak Hill Academy (fixed from previous post). When he entered the draft he was the most upset draftee because the Knicks didn't select him. He vowed to make the sorry for that decision.

I do believe he loves the Knicks, he just talks too much for someone as inconsistent as he is. That being said, his injuries have definetly hurt his potential, thus he plays with a uncontrollable chip on his shoulder most times. His passionate, truthful verbal expressions regarding his teams can be a slight distraction at times. I don't mind him as a backup on this team at his current contract, some say they'd take a second rounder for him but I believe he has more value than that...especially for this current Knick team.

I concur with this 100%. No other option is more beneficial for these Knicks.
