This assuming the free agent market gets ridiculous and we make a deal like mentioned above where Boston gives up their own 2018 first round pick and Demetrius Jackson for Kyle O'Quinn, but Carroll and Joseph + '18 Raptors 1st for cap space?

C-Kristaps Porzingis/Guillermo Hernangomez/Joakim Noah
PF-Carmelo Anthony/Lance Thomas/Cap Room MLE (Jared Sullinger type?)
SF-DeMarre Carroll/Mindaugas Kuzminskas/Maurice Ndour
SG-Courtney Lee/Justin Holiday/Ron Baker
PG-Cory Joseph/Rookie Point Guard (Dennis Smith/De'Aaron Fox/Frank Ntilikina)/Demetrius Jackson

Then make our two 2017 second round draft picks our D-League rotators and have our own 2018 First Round Draft Pick, Boston's 2018 First Round Draft Pick and Toronto's 2018 First Round Draft Pick
Disclaimer: Trades I post shouldn't make you stressed or angry if you disagree. If you say it's unproductive because it won't happen and we're only allowed to post deals that actually happen, it takes away 99% of trades here and the fun out of the board.

To start the season folks were saying this DET group had a great young core and should be a lock for a top 4 seeding. Now they might break it up and miss the playoffs.

That's why they play the games.

On the deal, I think DET is selling way too low

Typically rook PG's suck....having a vet starting to get his feet wet and then move into a backup isn't a bad idea.

Pacers have made their 1st round pick available for help for PG13.

Courtney Lee and either Jennings/Kuz for that 2017 1st and some expirings make too much damn sense.

Bird is trash as a GM I might add. If you trade your 1st round pick in consecutive seasons to win now, you're asking to have a crappy future. That team is pretty much Teague/PG13/Turner/Thad with nothing else.

Yeah but if we want to draft a PG we need't exum or rubio or reggie. We need to take a veteran this summer.

Guys like Jameer Nelson or Jarett Jack coulb be perfect veteran if you draft a Young PG. For me it's a better fit than get reggie Jackson who probably can't accepte to be an mentor of a Young pg ...

Yep. Both guys are smart players who are consummate professionals. Great role models for young PGs, IMO.

KJ Mcdaniels and #27 Pick for Oquinn

I also think Courtney Lee would be a nice fit at the 2 Guard next to Russ. Provide defense and consistent 3PT Shooting.

Westbrook-Lee-Roberson would be tough defensively. Dipo could come in and still average 16 PPG.

I'm guessing when they say a first rounder, they looking for something more than just an adequate guy. Lee is a fringe starter that can chip in about 10 points, make a three ball every now and then, and play decent defense. He's not a bad player....but when you think of the Pacers saying they want help for PG....they want someone who might be a difference maker, rather than a guy whose just okay. That's no hate towards Lee....you just have to think from their POV, they'd want something to show PG should stay...bringing in Courtney Lee hardly is that.

The 18-23rd pick doesn't fetch star talent. On draft day, Thad Young was flipped for the 20th pick & Bellinelli was flipped for the 22nd. If you package Lee with Kuz and a 2017 2nd rounder for their first, that's a very serious offer

Especially because those guys fit in with the team perfectly as off ball cutters and Lee being a high level spot up shooter.
