3 saves in 3 games. I think if we keep getting him opportunites like this, he'll preform much better than the 1st half. Tomorrow though, we need to win by a lot though to rest him.

hopefully the twins can keep the hot streak going and take away some games from the indians and tigers. we still have so many games left against the big 3, we still control our destiny.

Kei Igawa struggled today. He threw around 115 pitches in 5 innings. But he only gave up 3 runs. Proctor pitched the 6th and 7th, Vizciano pitched the 8th. Mo gave up a leadoff triple to Glaus, who had two homeruns off Igawa today, but then stranded him when he struck out Frank Thomas, got Overbay looking, and got the final batter to ground out

On the offensive side, Arod hit another home run, and Andy Phillips got a key run 2 single to make the score 6-4.

Thanks, just the way I figured the pitching would go. I saw Glaus staring down Arod on Sportscenter and his two homers. Phillips has been playing really well lately.

Matsui and Cano homered too. Matsui extended his hitting streak to 11 games.

Yeah. He has been coming through in big spots and playing very good defense. When Doug comes back, perhaps we can finally have that platoon that was spoken about all winter long. -Jitpal
