I feel like the Bucks, Wolves and Nuggets should consider relocating. All of them have old arenas and attendance has been low for all of them the past 5 years.

The Bucks just voted on a new arena and the Pepsi Center in Denver has been renovating slowly over the years. It's pretty nice.

As a Seattle resident I can tell you that relocating teams totally sucks. The league should avoid it at all costs if possible.

It wouldn't be 3 teams. 1-2 max.

So...demote a few teams to the D-league? I guess that makes some sense. You can't really contract teams nowadays. A relegation type system might work. Where one or two teams flip flop every year. Works in soccer.

Hopefully the sonics come back or maybe a team in Mexico City.
Convert municipal and agricultural waste to refined natural gas. Sell the refined natural gas to gas companies. Use the money to provide a monthly basic income to people that earn less than $28,000 a year.

Montreal definitely deserves one best city in Canada. Huge population. Huge corporate sponsors. 4 hour drive from Boston

I know it's pretty heartless, but, doesn't it make sense? It like building a quickie mart in the spot where a 7-11 just failed. Seems like a poor idea unless the surrounding business climate has changed somehow or you are offering a significantly different product.

Was thinking something similar. It's not so much that Seattle deserved to have their team taken away. It's more like if it's not going to be supported beyond 100 percent, then it doesn't make sense to shake up the league to put a team there again. There are other cities who deserve to at least try first.

On the other hand, you have Cleveland which has managed to be a decent franchise in terms of attendance on its second try despite having a lot of reasons to lost interest recently. Perhaps the knowledge that if they don't support the team, it will leave again and not come back motivates them. Could be the same with the Sonics.

Seattle is going to have to bend over backwards to get a time, in my opinion. The fans can feel however they want, but the actual politicians and prospective owners can't go in there acting entitled about getting the first crack at expansion (Balitmore tried it, and they had a much better case than Seattle). The league is more popular than ever right now.

Would be interesting to have Montreal and Vancouver with teams (and yes, if Seattle is questionable, then Vancouver certainly is) in a sort of Canadian reconquista. Those two cites always get teams when I expand in 2K.

Canada's the 2nd biggest area mass country in the world after Russia

Population of 36 million. The 3 cities Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver metropolitans make up 30% of the country'so population. Huge places with lots of cash

Vancouver in there first 5 years were basically the Brooklyn Nets of this year. So trash hard to rally fans. Also drafting steve francis and him refusing to play there was the nail in the coffin. Definitely if a team went back it would be a lot more popular. Basketball is huge in Canada compared to 15-20 years Ago

Also the guy who invited basketball is from Canada. That alone should make them have more than 1 team lol

Target Center is getting a huge overhaul this summer so the Wolves ain't moving. And attendance sucks because the team sucks. If they were still good like back in the KG days, attendance would be much higher. Not a lot of people want to go see a sucky team. And that wouldn't change no matter where the team is.

The NBA wouldn't benefit by expanding at all, it will only further the gaps between top teams and the rest. The NHL on the other hand can because it's a team sport, yes the NBA is a team sport but you need a superstar to compete, the NHL does not. Seattle and Vancouver need to return but on the cost of what?

Maybe relocate a franchise or two and that's it. There's no need for 32 teams. I mean it would be a fun process, I wouldn't be mad, I just don't think it would benefit.

In order to expand at all, the NBA would need a compelte rehaul on recurting talent. No more one and dones. No more bouncing balls. Worst team gets number one pick. Enforce a hard cap. No more 4 all stars on one team. If a team winds up with 4 all stars by the end of the year, so be it.

This will never happen so expanison is out of the question. The players own the leaugue and that wont change.

Nothing works in soccer. All those people and nobody is smart enough to just pick up the ball and throw it in the goal.
