Exactly. We all know these competitions don't mean anything, but within the context of the events, people still want to see an actual competition, and when everything's a 9 or 10, how can it be competitive?

yup... this is was i said in the thread last week... you need excitement. make it an 8 person field and get 4 stars in to draw interest. then dim the lights, get some music going. get people into it.

feels like saturday morning not saturday night

After last year being so great this dunk contest is just pathetic and awful. Unwatchable. The drone dunk was the dumbest thing I've ever seen and it took him 18 tries just to do it.
