Lowry and DeRozan

But they're American though still, and I'm sure viewership from China/India far exceeds that from Canada.

NBA has USA and Canada teams.

They play for a Canadian team and probably have Canadian citizenship. I think that's enough.

Everything the NBA did this weekend was so cringe worthy. I just want the season to continue lol

Don't think it has anything to do with who plays, but rather it represents the two countries that currently have NBA teams. If it was representing players who are there, we would have heard Spain's/Greece's national anthem as well.

Exactly. The rule is that the anthems for all countries represented by team in each specific game have to be sung (which is why the Canadian anthem isn't performed before non-Raptor games).

I kinda can't believe these games draw a crowd, if I'm in NOLA I'm def not spending anytime at the all-star game lol. I guess if I was a native and the tix were cheap. But I'll take a night on Bourbon Street any day over going to the all star game.

What is up with the league's and Adidas' obsession with gray jerseys? It looks so bland..
