Absolutely not. Something so crucial, should not be decided in an exhibition game.

Dunk contest is dead after last years GOAT performance.
3PT contest is meh
Skills is meh

Do not agree with the winner gets home court advantage but just give them a big paycheck for these things or something to entice the players to play a little harder. Need to light a fire somehow.

Lol no ****. " Last second play down 1. West with the open hoop. "Westbrook CLANKS the open dunk as time expires. Incredible!"

No great dunk contest.
No great 3 pt shootout.

I thought that the 3-point shootout was fantastic! ;)

No! You're new at this with the Greek Freak. You want less in this scrimmage, not more!

At least that is how I see it. :)

It's so so boring now, it's a dunk scrimmage basically. Nobody even feigns an attempt at actually trying to stop anyone. It's hard to get into for me. I like scoring but this is over the top and very hard to watch.

I'm with you. With such a lack of effort the whole thing might as well be scrapped. I just want real basketball back.

Reggie Miller just said along the lines of "why not (200 points), the fans want offense and this is an exhibition".

Well I'm a fan and I don't want just offense. Offense is made great by great defense. I know some people say this game means nothing but it's sports. Nothing means anything unless we make it something. I for one want to see the worlds best go head to head in a heated battle.

Curry literally laying down on the court to avoid being posterized is just weak and soft.

This game has pretty much always been for kids or people that just enjoy the highlight reel stuff, it's supposed to be the anti-regular season/playoffs so these guys get a break from all that. The INTENSITY of the regular season will be back soon enough, just wait on it.

The last 2 years have been over the top though even for an All Star game.

Fair enough I guess, but at least this year is close and if it stays that way there should be a little bit of a real game in the fourth
