I support this!

The only players who should try hard in a scrimmage are guys in preseason trying to earn a spot on the end of the bench!

I can't wait until fully interactive TV, when we'll be able to selectively mute individual members of the broadcast team; Miller will cease to be.

Anthony Davis has 32 points on 16/24 shooting. I think 15 of his makes have been wide-open dunks and the other was that stepback 18-footer to start the game.

Dunk contest was bad, skills was average, ASG is terrible, the regular season is very average, the storylines are boring, there are no real rivalries anymore..where does NBA go from here?

I can understand them not playing defense

but they are missing wide open layups and dunks, this is sad, and then reggie miller on top of that

This is a horrible idea. The MLB tried this idea and finally had to drop it for this upcoming season after years of fan outcry. An exhibition game in the middle of the season should never have the potential to swing a championship series months later.

I'm old enough to remember when MLB made the switch, and it improved the game without a doubt. Haven't followed baseball much over the last few years, but it was definitely a good thing when they first implemented it.

Anyway, people keep saying an exhibition game shouldn't decide something so important, but that's the reason you do something like that, so it is NO LONGER an exhibition game, but an actual basketball game. Anyone who wants it to be an exhibition game of grab ass needs their head examined. Regardless of what they do, they need to provide incentive for winning to make it a respectable game, as opposed to the disgrace that it has been for so many years.
New York said Mitchell wasn't the guy you trade the sink for, then they traded it for Mikal, lol.

I'm watching this hoping to see that great moment between Godbrook & Durant where they shake hands and then hug. Durant then starts celebrating with the Crowd not noticing the scowl on Godbrook's face...who then smashes KD in the back with a steel chair. He stands over him talking trash not noticing that Harden has climbed to the top rope and hits Godbrook with the Iron Beard Elbow. Godbrook looks at the ref...who calls the foul on Godbrook.

There needs to be some incentive for this game. I agree that winning Finals homecourt is probably not the best idea (though I personally dig it), but there needs to be something.
Maybe the winning conference could get an extra two or three days off before its playoffs start. A few additional days of rest before the playoffs start seems like good incentive to me.
