Maybe but I honestly watched about 3 minutes and got disgusted. It's still a competition, in the 1st half it looked like a practice scrimmage. You don't have to go all out on defense but the effort wasn't even half way. They were literally moving out of the lane when another player drove in. At least face your man up, as I watch the 3rd they're giving a bit more effort now

We're 33 minutes into this game and we've only gotten 10 minutes of Russell Westbrook.

Two-time reigning MVP has played less than 1/3rd of the game so far. BS.

Maybe the winning conference could get an extra two or three days off before its playoffs start. A few additional days of rest before the playoffs start seems like good incentive to me.

How about some thing where each squad chooses a collection of charities. They get some anonymous, rich celeb sponsors and open something up for fan donation. Whichever side wins gets the larger share of the charitable donations (which would then, of course, see good Samaritans make up the difference for the other side).

Huge PR win, money going to good causes.
