Keep the pick. Get Boogie next year. Good plan... but this means keeping Bledsoe.

Wait....the Pelicans gets Boogie's bird rights correct???

So they can still supermax him? Or does this move cost Cousins' money somehow?

Wow i can't believe NO landed him for that package. He must be WAY worse to deal with behind the scenes than we know.

I have to say i was very wrong on the cousins situation. Didn't think he would get traded after he said he would resign and also thought he would fetch far more from a few teams including the suns. Wonder what phoenix offered.

How stupid are the Kings, they tank at the deadline but have 3-4 wins too many lol.

That's what I thought too but they can't. Only a 4 year deal

He can't get the megamax that the Kings could have given him. the Kings screwed him out of 40 million or something like that. Now the Pelicans can give him a fifth year player option that young players barely ever use unless they have a horrible injury

Under the new collective bargain, the Kings where the only ones that could've paid Cousins over 200mil if he resigned this offseason... as of now, the Pelicans will not be able to get close to that amount but will be able to offer more than any other teams.
