Re: The Boogie Watch
Can the Pelicans trade Boogie to us for Knight/Len/Warren/Bender 2017 1st?
Oh man, that would be hilarious. A big eff you to Divac.

Re: The Boogie Watch
Those extra picks were part of te rumor but I don't think they were included. Seems like it's just Tyreke, that mid lotto from NOL (which could be a late lotto now they have Cousins) and the PHI 2nd. LOL

I'm thinking Suns didn't reach the sky for Cousins because maybe they needed some assets for the next move. Butler or George. George was rumored to like PHX some years back, I think. Not sure if that is still the case.

still two 1st, 2017 and 2019
There's no 2019 pick per David Aldridge.
i stand corrected!

76ers are laughing, they have 2017 pick swap and 2019 unprotected with Sacramento.

Vlade: We're gonna need both your 2017 AND 2019 first round picks.
Pelicans: Nah fam.
Vlade: LOL OK, worth a shot. You still got a deal.
I'm assuming that is how it went down.

Okay so this is my thinking...
Suns offered
Knight
Warren
Len
2017 1st for Cousins/Casspi
Suns then offer
PJ and LB
2021 Miami 1st
for
Jimmy Butler
Kings probably knew we had a follow up trade for Butler, and didn't want to see us become a powerhouse and them just sucking.

Didn't reach for the sky? Pelicans barely stood up and still got a deal done.

If Ray Ray is right and the kings turned down a better offer from the suns or anyone just to get him out of the division thats really idiotic on there part.

This is what I'm hearing...
Suns trade:
Brandon Knight
Alex Len
TJ Warren
2017 -1st round pick UNPROTECTED
KINGS:
Demarcus Cousins
Omri Casspi
It's far from being done but those are the parameters..
That's insane.
A near negative value player- Knight
A pending RFA underperformer- Len
A decent rotation (with some upside) 3rd year player-Warren
And a 2017 first that could land anywhere from #1 to #10 if the deal happened this week
Makes zero sense!
If McD gets Cousins, I'll be stunned if the deal doesn't require at least, at a minimum Chriss or Bender And 2 first round picks...'17 plus another. Then a Len or a Warren.
I'll take a Cousins trade for that ridiculously low price if that's all it takes..despite my fears. I don't believe it, and at the "prices" I think it would take, I'm saying "no". Too risky.
Believable prices below-
Boogie for Bender, Warren, Len, '17 and Miami '18?
No
Cousins for Chriss, Warren, Len, '17 and Miami '18?
No
Cousins for Chriss, Warren, Len, '17 and PHX '18 or '19?
no.
Cousins for Warren, Len, '17 and Miami '18 or Knight
Risky still but ok, I'd do it. Unbelievable IMO
Did you not see who they actually accepted? Warren alone is more valuable to me than the 2 late firsts (hell, they even got protection and refused to include the 2019 first instead of the 2017 and Sac still took it) and Hield. And Len is good. People here don't believe it but people who follow advanced stats and understand what rim protection does to a team get it. Len is an impending RFA, but to get Evans (a solid but unspectacular, highly paid player), a protected 1st, a 2nd, and an old rookie who has proven almost nothing, should be a felony offense for unheard of theft.

Yup, but I don't see any way Phoenix would deal Bledsoe to NO. Honestly there is no combo of players on their team I would have accepted for Bledsoe aside from AD before this. We are not the Kings.

This is what NO was offering for Okafor essentially. Let that sink in a bit. 76ers weren't willing to trade Okafor for basically what Sac ended up trading Cousins for.

Ray Ray any reason why this deal wasn't accepted? Did we have another pending deal in place such as Butler or George? I don't see why this deal wouldn't be accepted unless Divac knew we were about to land another star too.

NO wouldn't trade more for Bledsoe than Cousins, but I don't know anything anymore after today.

No need to go extreme. Cousins trade has dictated the trade market. At this point, Bledsoe's trade value has dropped CONSIDERABLY.
Best now to play the trade game and buy low on good players.
Bledsoes value has not dropped. NO Is trading for a one year rental.
Apples and oranges.
