I know he's not a great fit next to Wall, but he'd be a massive improvement as a bench scorer here.

He'd be a huge get. One more guy to defend Lebron, Kyrie, IT, Derozen, Lowry etc.

Yup here's Stein.

interesting offer?. heild and Gallaway are nice young guards and evens is what he is and the picks are interesting, i can't believe now one could beat that?. Pelicans trying out that twin towers line up. Yo, I wonder if we could swing a deal to trade them burke and thronton for cunninham and T.jones since they need to balance that team out since they are loosing like 3 guards. Even toss them house to help their poor wing situation. Probably a fair trade no picks needed.

I would be super happy to put jones and cunninham on this team! That would mean we need to step up our efforts to trade nicholson though. But we would have the picks to do it still and we upgraded our PF bench position with out giving up picks.

I feel terrible for Kings fans.

Glad it wasn't to the Celtics at least.

Is redundant. But it will make for a really interesting experiment.

I love this deal for them though. They gave up absolutely nothing for him and they get him for a year and a half to see if anything pans out. They weren't winning anything before. There is no downside. If it doesn't work out, they can deal him at the next deadline and recoup most of what they gave up for him.

That team is going to cause serious problems for GSW in the first round

Yo I would cream my self if we swang trade for terrence jones and we picked up tyreeke evans of the street, we still have our exception so we can offer him more than some of the other big contenders this year could! Yo he would be a massive bench up grade for us and if we pick him up off the street **** no risk situation if he gets hurt no big deal. Do it as long as you don't cut McCellan to make room for him! im good!

If Ernie was smart and good, he'd be able to scoop up complimentary pieces that are bandied about in the chaos of lots of guys moving around/being bought out from various franchises as a result of this trade. Can he (Grunfeld) scoop someone up with the assets we have to improve the worst bench in the NBA??

They are still 2.5 games out of the 8th spot from Denver (including 3 from the loss column). Murray is coming on, and they can make a move to improve. Could be too big a hill to climb out of.

I'd be surprised if the Celtics kept the nets pick. They have a win now team when you look at IT, Crowder, Horford, etc. Id be shocked if they don't at least get Butler by the deadline. I think the wiz would be wise to fold their cards right now and make minor deals and keep their pick. See what opportunities come next year. Its possible Cousins Will be available next deadline.

Yo this might be the thing that stops us from over paying for Lou williams if we can pick up evans off the street for nothing!!! If its one thing that stops EG from making stupid choices its teds love of not spending money and 2.5 mill for evans beats 7 and 7 for Lou any day of the week! if he gets a buy out does he have to pass waivers I can't remember? COME ON EG! I believe in you ! do the smart craft trades and not the obvious stupid Lou williams trade.

DC going for that pitiful offer greatly changes the market. Lou williams is NOT any where near worth a 2017 first in this market anymore if Boggie and casppi went for a first a second 2 young SG and a filler contract. COME ON!

We should be able to get a player/players much better than Lou or Boban.

You've been right so far, I think we should aim much higher

I saw an article earlier today that the Wiz were interested in Bojan Bogdanovic, they may not need to trade now if Tyree gets waived.

If Boogie doesn't sign this offseason I'm trading Gortat next deadline and going all in for DMC Wall is his best friend

Damn, that's mind boggling stuff, horrible trade by the kings. I feel for their fanbase losing the franchise guy. Just awful.

Wall says we're making a move though , I'm excited fellas

For real though, Like can he pull off another escape, it would be nice if her could A. dump nicholson somewhere, B pick up some nice bench pieces in all of this mess, Evans off the street would be a mind blowing grab considering what he would do for our bench and we would get him for free! Plus we can offer him more money that just about any team in the east playoff picture except boston and indianda, which I can't boston wanting him or needing him and he would probably rather play here than indiana. Swooping in and pulling a thornton for jones trade would be a **** magic trick in itself if you could swing it to help them balance that team out.

Like I said this is going to shake the market value. And #1 lover the value of players not on Rookie deals or RFA, and #2 rise the value on picks. This is good. This is really good, because we are buyers and this trade will make it easier to move a relatively cheap money deal like nicholson's as filler in a trade and get more out of him and a pick.

I'm sure you can get Jones for a second and Thornton or another expiring.

CeltsfanSinceBirth wrote:The worst part about all of this is now I've got to read pages of posts about how Danny could have beaten that offer.

What you guys don't understand is this - Danny knows what he's doing. He's acquired shady characters before (Ricky Davis), but he made sure to do his homework first. He did his homework on Cousins, and probably concluded that it wasn't worth an offer. Not even mid 1st round picks and expirings. If the Pels offer was the best the Kings could do, it sounds like other teams did their research and came to the same conclusion.

Celtics fans seem to be logically evaluating this trade. People keep saying that the Kings could have gotten so many better offers. The thing is, they couldn't..
