This game has really gotten bad compared to 10 years ago. It's pretty noticeably different.

Really seems hand in hand when you think about how guys just want to join together now to win instead of beating each other.

Competitiveness is a dying thing among these players. Not to say that they don't desire to beat whoever is in front of them on a given night. But seems like they'd rather 1) look better than other greats or 2) play with other greats as opposed to just beating them.

It used to be confined to the dunk contest. Everyone complained about how the big names never participated. It is now spreading to the actual game itself. Guys just want to have fun.

Kinda wish everyone was like Westbrook in this regard. He absolutely wants to have fun but he also wants to beat the living piss out of everyone and everything.

I've been pushing for the game to be re-named the Grab Ass game for a while now.

It certainly isn't basketball.

the same guys complaining will be watching and complaining again next year.

let it go. As long as actual exciting guys are stuck on **** teams (playoff teams tend to get guys voted in by coaches) this is how it will be.

Up until last year I would record the game and watch it at the same time, and watch it back in case I missed something. Last year I watched the recording and hated how the lackluster play. This year I was going to record it on tape delay I watched 5 minutes of that garbage and got on YouTube. That game was horrible, the last 2 years have been a mockery

There was a reason the over/under was 372 pts....nobody expected DEFENSE so stop complaing

Game was a poopfest, and I only watched 5 minutes of it. No energy from the players, the crowd looked like they were watching a chess match.The NBA got it wrong the last couple of years, they need to also go back to letting the players wear their own team uniforms.

These last 2 years says even more about the veteran players in the game that condone and allow that type of careless effort. The last 2 years have been an eyesore to watch

It's the era and culture translate into the game. Rules aren't exactly helping either. Ride it out and hope it turns into better shape, imo. I doubt it will happen in my lifetime though, lol.
