Apparently they valued the cap space and draft pick over Drummond. Not hard to see why if they are rebuilding with young guns.

Drummond is young and an all star. This offer would have been >>>> than this crap deal.

I'd rather have Hield and the pick than Drummand. He plays 30 mins a night, avg 14pt and 13 rebs a game and has to come off the floor down the stretch. He also is owned between 22 and 28mil a year over the next 5 yrs. Doesn't fit a team building young with cap flexibility.

How do we know that anybody was willing to give up any thing more? Outrage without all of the facts is bleeping stupid.

So if they were going to deal him instead of re-sign, why the dishonesty? They lied to the media, to the fans, to DMC's agent, etc.

Answer my question first. According to well-known connected guy on StR, the market was ice-cold on DMC, and getting colder. Instead of extending the DMC purgatory, they cut their losses. Should've happened earlier, but the media backlash would've just as bad if not worse immediately following the George Karl debacle.

Who will be the key center now, when Cousins will move to New Orleans? Will the Kings look for another trade to acquire a good center as a replacement for Cousins?

We have Georgios Papagiannis.

We are in good hands.

As a Wiz fan, I weep for you all, I feel we could have offered Oubre, Gortat, and a 1st and that would have been so much better.

I'm sure this is a minority opinion tbh. I doubt you will have many people agree with you.

But what's done is done.

The Cousins-era is over.

Well, the 2016 draft questions have been answered. FO loaded up for life without Cousins. Papagiannis pick makes sense.

I agree with him. We could use all the picks we can get and hield is a nice player. The nba is built around shooting and wings, our only hope is hield goes God mode now he will have the absolute green light.

Let's hope vlade was right about Papa and he's a serious player otherwise we are screwed. We seriously need to hit on all our picks from 2016 and the 2 we will have in 2017, even then we are looking at 3 more years minimum of bottom 5 basketball.

Kings are officially the Cleveland Browns of the NBA. Gonna be a long time before they come back from this.

I'd hate to be Buddy right now.

Could only imagine the pressure he is gonna feel at least the rest of the season.

Would you guys preferred the rumored Orlando deal we allegedly turned down?

This is a big thing. Agents and players were already avoiding us and for this to happen. Just terrible.

What upside is there to being a kings fan? We get dumped on by other fans, players, media, in named sources, woj. And the worst part is that apparently they are all correct.

This franchise has become a joke. I'm done watching this team as long as this stupid owner is still there. I'm canceling my league pass and I'm not buying any Kings stuff anymore.

Ironic, another groin shot that Buddy and Cousins are involved in.
