Is anyone else just in a good mood? All BC has to do is trade Okafor for anything and then take his hands off the wheel. Thanks to the Kings, this team is on autopilot.

Think they maybe can get to #4 (if the Ibaka trade is a 'addition by substraction' for the Magic), don't forget they won a game against Boston without Cousins.

Even without Ibaka, I think they could make up the difference. Sac is cutting half their team with 25 games left. Even with a cake schedule, winning more than 2 or 3 will be tough.

On a side (more pessimistic) note: that's 1 more team that will end up worse than LA in 2018.

There's also Brooklyn and maybe Orlando (although they still have decent talent on their team).

Also, as previously mentioned, working on trading Darren Collison.

They're just going to waive the best SF left on their roster after the Rudy Gay injury?! This night just keeps getting better and better. I guess they're going full tank for us.

Kevin Smith, FWIW, reports Sac will buyout/waive one or both of Tyreke and Langston Galloway.

interesting, I kind of like Galloway

They got the (2nd) best center in the league for Jamaican Jodie Meeks and a PROTECTED 1st. Okafor should get Lebron, Kyrie and joint rights to the 2016 Larry O'Brien Trophy.

The NBA before the games start should hold a league wide moment of silence for the kings organization. RIP kings 2/20/2017

Tough sell, I think the league may also have to throw in the original peach basket that was used

Not especially. Watching the kings get robbed is just a reminder that we still have bad front office public relations, which was Hinkie's big flaw, but now we're not stacking value assets by winning a few trades per year.

I do feel really bad for their fans. We've been on the wrong side of some pretty bad trades but at least there wasnt social media in those days.

Silver steps in and screwed up our organization but allows Vlade to run to into ground.

Incompetent is okay. Shrewd required league intervention.

Dont forget Billy King ruining the Nets, although I do think Prokov had a lot to do with that trade.

It does amaze me that incompetence is ok but executing a well thought out plan has consequences

Hinkie didn't try to field a team to compete, but that's done all the time. He just didn't waste money on ineffective vets. They say he "exposed a flaw in the system." He sucked for top picks without the guise of trying to compete.

Sorry to derail the thread. Just so annoying.

Oh, I'm still pissed off that Hinkie isn't here but, without the ability to und0 all of that, having an outside force maximize our assets is just fine by me. I hate that Silver meddled with us while letting incompetent halfwits run franchises in to the ground but I'm going to take a small victory where I can get it.

NO offered a top 20 protected pick for Okafor. That's why he deal wasn't done. The sixers would not get a first round pick if BC made that deal so the deals for Sacramento and Philly were nothing alike.

Top 20 in 2017 but then?
We don't know....If the pick's protection was declining in 3 years, let's say, it would be a good pick imho.
If that pick would become 2 seconds down the line, it's a different (worst) scenario.

The Kings could actually go winless the rest of the season. This is amazing

Anyone else get this smug feeling towards Celtics fans after that Boogie trade went through?

If I hear one more person boast about the Brooklyn picks I might lose it

Who have the Celtics drafted recently that has been anything more than capable of getting 7 gifted steals against TJ McConnell and Nik Stauskas?

Keep your brooklyn picks, draft Lonzo Ball, watch him flame out in the NBA, and we'lol see who's laughing in 2020 when neither team has won a championship yet and Avery Bradley and Jae Crowder are both on different teams and Jaylen Brown is still Jaylen Brown

Would be funny if Kings starts winning with better ball movement, shooting and D at the C position. Last 15 games, Kings averaged 113DRtg with DMC and 98DRtg w/o him.

And I wouldn't completely write off Hield, altho it's not high likely he turn it around.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.
