Robinson Tejeda
Does anyone think this can become his breakout year? He has been showing some pretty good stuff in the spring, and he was looking good at the end of last year. If he can develop into a solid pitcher, our pitching staff this year won't be so bad.

he ended spring on a good note and he did finish last year with an ERA of like 1.2 or something.
As long as he doesnt try and strike people out and just focuses on getting people out then he should be good to go. i believe last year when he was focusing on K's he started walking people but the last 5 or 6 starts his walks were way down.

Our problem is we still don't have a #1 pitcher, I doubt we ever will. Kevin Mildwood is a #2, Vincente Padilla is a #3, Brandon McCarthy is a #4, and Robinson Tejeda is a #5. I don't even want to talk about the 5th spot in the rotation.

theres like 7-8 true #1's in baseball its not that big a deal to not have one the key is to have a bunch of inning eaters to keep your bullpen fresh.

I see Millwood having a a strong year this year as long as Wilkerson and Blalock come through with some good offensive numbers. I can see any where from 12 to 16 wins from him. Tejeda will have lets say....anywhere from 9 to 13 wins as long as he is consistent. Im looking foward to seeing the Rangers having a good year and making the playoffs. It would be nice to see a lone star world series match up between the Rangers and Stros.
