Magic doesn't need to trade for the sake of Trade.

Many trades sound intriguing, however, will it help Magic moving forward, now and the future?

being that the ibaka to toronto trade was known for a while and us being after ross was known for a while ill go ahead with the current rumor of
dj and jeff green for reggie jackson, adding aaron baynes as filler

if this trade doesn't happen something out of left field happens
I'll go ep4 green Hezonja for holiday cunningham

or ep4, green, hezonja, Vuc, toronto pick for bledsoe, Len and whatever filler, kings said they wont trade cousins and traded him, phoenix has said they wont trade bledsoe, could still wind up trading him

biz hezonja cj watson for wilson chandler and filler

No Jimmy Butler?

ive thrown it out there and got shot for it, leave it up to the genuis's to come up with trade predictions on here since mine are so bad and impossible,

a trade for a star helps us now and in the future, a trade for a better pg helps us now and in the future, my post is just fun to pass the time while we wait for rumors, predict an out of nowhere trade that seems very like Hennigan would do, one that no rumors hinted towards, again just passing the time til something comes up

how exactly would they get a top-3 pick?

If NO miss playoffs and get some lotto luck with their combinations. Their pick to Sacramento has top-3 protection.

and a lineup with a better point guard then we currently have along with a star in butler or pg13 isnt better then what we currently have???? are you insane????

I'm not friends with those players, but what I do have is common sense.
What PG has in Indiana (Turner), and what Butler (Mirotic, wade, Lopez) has in Chicago is better than what we have.

We'll get more value in the summer, when draft order is known.

i agree about Indiana (i would include Thad Young and Teague), but i dont agree about Chicago. That team outside of Butler is pretty bad. I dont count Wade cuz he is so old

He of the 19ppg and the near 20 PER?? Wade will be better next year than any SG we have on our team at the moment. Lopez is a better version of Biz.

I'm more interested in seeing them make the playoffs and the Kings not getting a lotto pick out of this. That would be hilarious.

According to Mannix, a handful of teams, including the Magic and Celtics, expressed “nominal interest” in Cousins, though Steve Bulpett of The Boston Herald tweets that Boston wasn’t one of the clubs actively engaged with Sacramento on Sunday.

Haven't seen where it's top 3 protected.

FWIW, I don't see them landing top 3 anyway.

or Wade's knees finally give out before the end of the season. He is playing on borrowed time imo

I agree and would be shocked if they missed, but after seeing the package Boogie was just traded for, anything is possible, lol.

Ok so who wants Terrence jones? I can't believe that dude wants out of New Orleans now with the Boogie acquisition. The Pelicans currently have 3 dudes on their roster that came out of Kentucky University- Davis, Boogie and jones, those dudes are like buddies and should want to stay together. The Pelicans are going to be contenders now so Terrence should really put his ego aside and stay with New Orleans. But I like Terrence jones and would like to see the Magic get him.

I went to a Florida gators home game when they played kentucky when they still had Anthony Davis and Terrence jones, Kidd Gilchrist on that team so i got to watch these guys in person and liked terrence jones.

Ainge landed IT for Marcus Thornton and a 1st rd pick, they're at the top of the EC and have a top 3 pick for the second year in a row in a stacked draft. I feel like there's much less of an urgency for Ainge.

Well.... i think his point was sarcastically saying that if Demarcus was going that cheaply.....Boston could have done the same and put in a bid and get him on the cheap. yup.... top 3 for sure.... but they could have possibly gone all in on this season as well... hoping that they would resign him and get the interior offensive presence they miss so much... instead of a hope and a prayer. For me... with us not having an established direction.... with what would be 2 to 3 times harder to retain him after the season. And with his woes with attitude.... not sure if that would be great on a Non established team. It's a much higher risk for us than it would have been for them. They could have tried brown/olynik/bradley.... etc. or just amir johnson+ filler and the pick. Immediately puts them higher in the league. For us.... it would have been a salary dump in the end.

If we are in the market for a PG, I would make all efforts and go in on Bledsoe. As long as we dont have to give up our 17, it makes sense to try and acquire him.

If a trade goes down expect it to happen tomorrow. The Tobias trade happened a couple days before the deadline last year and I heard today on a podcast that since Vogel and Rob are still going for the playoffs they would like whatever player we acquire to have a day of practice and to be ready to play in the game Thursday.

It sure feels like we'll be involved in another trade before the trade deadline is over, I don't know if reggie jackson is the trade but it feels like something is going to happen.
