Weird.

He's eligible for an extension/renegotiation of his contract this summer. Considering his knee issues, do you think he's worth the max extension, he probably deserves?

The Kings front office would be smart to be on the phone with the Sixers trying to get Jah right now, but the phrase KINGS FRONT OFFICE AND SMART is an oxymoron SO...... I'm guessing not!

The love for Cousins is ridiculous. He is not, repeat not, an elite center or power forward. He puts up empty stats on a bad team and has been unable to lead the Kings to the playoffs as the main man.

1) He is not a stretch power forward/center because he holds a career 3pt shooting percent of .322
2) He is not a good shooting big man (6'10" or bigger with 10 or more shots per game). Check out this list of active players and see where he lands with career true shooting percentage ... https://tinyurl.com/h6kskaz
3) He is not an elite defender for big men ... https://tinyurl.com/z5xsaec

There in lies the problem. He does not fit into the modern NBA system of either shooting three pointers or layups. His two point shooting percentage away from the basket is atrocious. The only thing he does well is rebound and get to the line and the later is not reflected in his true shooting percentage because he is not an elite free throw shooter.

Very glad we did not waste our assets on this player.

If Suns don't trade Eric Bledsoe, he's gone to New Orleans when he's a free agent. Suns need to be smart.

I don't get the thought that the Suns didn't "go for it" on this one. If you believe the rumors the suns offered what could be their highest pick in franchise history in what is widely regarded as a great draft, and other assets for a guy who is both hard to deal with and could walk in a year and a half. Seems like a pretty big swing to me.

Hell as I had said last week I wouldn't have been comfortable trading that pick without 100% assurance he would sign an extension this summer and not take FA meetings the summer of 2018. By all accounts he's not signing that extension so personally it's a risk I wouldn't have taken. But I guess the McD was willing to roll that dice.

Well if they pay Drew Holiday this off-season then resign Boogie in the Summer of 2018 they won't have even close to enough cap space to make a run at Bledsoe the summer of 2019.

We won't let Bledsoe reach unrestricted FA if he wants out (if he does a Dragic if we get a PG in the draft).

That would bring N.O into play, they could swing Holiday and get assets to trade for Bledsoe.

We need to wait and see what happens in the draft before doing anything regarding Bledsoe. His value might be higher now due to his great stretch, so many teams fighting for playoff spots, and before a bunch of new point guards get drafted in the league. If we get a crazy good offer, pull the trigger and draft a PG no matter what.

Cousins has hit more 3s than Buddy Hield this season. And we all have eyes and understand basketball enough and most of us know Cuz is a star player. And would be heads and shoulders be best player on the Suns since Nash.

With his injury history he might be willing to take less in a long contract for security. Rich Paul probably wouldn't be big on that though.

I honestly never cared if Cousins was here or not but why am I not surprised that the only reason the Suns didn't get Cousins is because the Kings didn't want Knight.

Definitely a big swing followed by a big miss. Maybe Vlade never even threw the ball.

Read on Twitter

We weren't even close to landing Cousins. The Lakers had a better chance then we did. I don't **** get it. Once again the Lakers were almost gifted an All-Star player.

If Sarver sees that tweet I think McD is gone. I don't even know what to say at this point

Yea woj just said we weren't even top 2. From what I've been reading the kings brass has been slobbering over heild for some time. Explains why they waited to trade down with the suns after BH was taken. I don't think the suns were ever seriously in the boogie Convo from the get go.

Probably we were not that interested at all. Cousins is a big expensive headcase, I am not surprised.

If we weren't even being considered then we need to blow it up. I'm sorry to say that we need a new GM and I think Sarver feels the same. Don't expect McD to get his contract renewed.

McD should have made a strong offer. That is his **** job.

I haven't been expecting that for a while. On the other hand I do fear it. We'll hire another new to the position GM and a learning curve will ensue. It'll be frustrating and the process will repeat itself.

Yes I have been wanting to blow it up for a while now. Ship out bled, Tucker, TC and keep BK so we can raise his value. I personally still like mcD though.

I think McD has done an above average job when dealing with Sarver. Unfortunately this is the final nail in the coffin. Get ready for a new GM.

Agreed. Knight should stay and run the tank while padding his stats.
