I wouldn't want to trade a 1st for Lopez, even with crazy protection like Top 20 protected in 2017, etc.

Sac deal I'm on board with.

I would love to get Lopez on this team and let him play PF while Cody plays C. I would include our pick this year if we could also land Brogdonavic and offload Marvin. Increases our rebounding, scoring, blocks, three pt shooting all in one trade.

dont' think idy moves pg but we should see if we can put something together for jimmy butler if celtics don't step up.

If we get a chance to put together a package for PG or Butler, we've got to do it. Plain and simple. I just don't think we can put together enough assets to compete with Boston

Boston definately has better assets, but they are reluctant to use them

They will pay up for Butler or George. That much I'm sure of. If one of them is not in Boston by Thursday it's because their teams simply decided to keep them.

If we remotely have a chance at PG or Butler you have to go for it. Try at all costs to keep Kemba. Anyone and picks otherwise can be had.

Some discussion among Hornets bloggers today regarding KCP. Detriot is apparently shopping him. He is a RFA this summer. Seems like the kind of player the Nets would offer a near max deal, similar to Crabbe, but KCP is better.

Would you trade for KCP knowing it might take 20 mil per this summer to lock him up, in addition to a valuable asset, such as MKG.

Cho has been very consistently good at signing players for less than they could have gotten. Even the Batum and Marv deals that we aren't really happy with were at least slight relative discounts. I'm not sure if less than half a season would be enough to get KCP to buy into our franchise that hard, but who knows, maybe Cho could lock him down for 16-18? It might not actually matter with our cap situation already being kind of bleak.

KCP is basically a younger and better version of Courtney Lee. Seems like hed be fantastic for us.

Since we'll be pretty cap strapped anyway, I'm totally down with trading for a RFA and blowing past the cap when we match.

I just don't know KCP's game like I know MKG's, so I'm not sure if the generally positive view I have of him is accurate.
