It's amazing because my reaction was the same exact way at first and then thinking about it, "Of course it's real."

It's funny, I came on last night at like 4 in the morning and was going to explain that the Nets original intention of asking for two first rounders was to be able to get back to ground zero in regards to trading their own picks and it wasn't about what they valued in regards to Brook, but figured I'd have until tonight to be able to discuss it. My ex must be leaking information to Marc Stein, too.

What do you mainly play? Tourney's, cash? Live, online, casino or home games?

When I lived in Vegas, I played casino about once a weekend (usually Thursday night, from 8 to 12, where I would then meet up with my group of friends who were playing pai gow or blackjack for the graveyard meals, super cheap breakfast food). I play online now, my brother and I share an account, and my group of friends have a home game around once a month. Buy in depends on the time of year, but it's never huge since we're mainly playing for fun.

what is riddiculous is that the NJ vince carter was a highlight dunking beast and easy top 10 ever...

then you realize nets VC was a shell of toronto VC from a highlight standpoint :o

Remember that game where VC was destroying the Spurs to the tune of what, 50 pts I believe and then Bruce Bowen tried to take his legs out on a jumpshot and Vince got kicked out? That was the only way Bowen had a chance in that game, Vince was embarrassing their entire squad

If the Nets want to deny their past they can go ahead, but it would be a crime not to retire #15 of this franchise. That guy made this team a must watch every night. We weren't the best team in the league but man at least we knew if VC and Kidd were on we had a chance.

Nothing was sweeter than the game versus Miami where Vince destroyed Alonzo not once but twice with two savage dunks. What gets lost in that narrative is the fact that Richard Jefferson punished Zo with a tomahawk dunk in between those two.

Man if Shareef Abdur Rahim's knee wasn't messed up we could have been something nice.

Any of y'all heard that new SI podcast "Breakway". It's awesome, the first episode was about Robin Lopez (and defacto about Brook)
Spread Em and Dead em.
-Sad DLO is gone
-Allen will become LobCity DJ
-Kyrie will be top 3 for MVP if we get to 50+ wins, he will average 27ppg, 7apg, shooting 50-40-90

I remember the SAR deal and always think about what could've happened. Stronger playoff team and who knows what would've happened via free agency later on. Presumably the Nets would've become a minor destination team.

Nice. I recently started playing a decent amount again.

I play in a monthly game and when I can, in a weekly tournament as well. Nothing crazy. Also try to get to Sands once or twice a month, mainly play 1/2 these days, although still some 2/5 as well.

I still love to play, wish it was as lucrative as it once was for me, now without all the other vices I attached to it which ruined my pro aspirations haha.
