Re: Accolades 90s to 2015/16 draft - draft thread
I'll choose Horace Grant. He'll likely be my backup PF and C. I'll be using his 91-92 season, in which he had a 61.8 TS%, as well as 14.1 WS and .237 WS/48, all while costing me 0 points. Yes please. Can someone quote the next guy please?

Was hoping to get Dumars here for some perimeter defense and 3s. Moving onto my next plan...

Re: Accolades 90s to 2015/16 draft - draft thread
I'll take:

Chris Mullin
Almost certainly the BPA that fits my team. We need more scoring/shooting and mullin brings that in spades, he perfectly rounds out our starting 5. We'll be using one of his peak seasons which aren't cheap but I'm sure I can build a bench for a point or two so it makes sense to shell out the points now.

Re: Accolades 90s to 2015/16 draft - draft thread
I think defensive role players will be key in the playoff match ups with all the great offensive players. I am getting one who I think is among the best as can shoot and defend 3 positions including allowing team to play small with Durant at the 4 but Battier guarding 3s in similar mold to LeBron/Battier on the Heat.

John Wall
He's a perfect fit next to Klay and Pierce. I don't need him to be a scorer here but his elite play-making and defense is perfect.

I'm actually making three picks here.
Parsnips takes Peja Stojakovic
I take Bowen
Quo takes Glen Rice

1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

I'll go with Demarcus Cousins. He's got a 1 point season when he averaged 23 and 12. Yes please.

I'll round out my starting 5 with an elite defensive big who can also pass the ball a bit...

Re: Accolades 90s to 2015/16 draft - draft thread
(have back to back picks)
Using the rest of my points here. Building an unstoppable Offense. My first pick is Amar'e Stoudemire. I will be using his 07-08 season for 6 points, 65.6 TS%, 14.6 WS, .262 WS/48, absolute beast. He will be my starting C.
My second pick is Gerald Wallace. I will be using his 09-10 season for 4 points, 58.6 TS%, 11.5 WS, .177 WS/48. He was also All-Defensive 1st Team in the season chosen.
Westbrook/Reggie/Gerald/Malone/Amar'e with Horace Grant coming off the bench so far. Yes please. Take a shot Laimbeer.

Not many bench bigs left who can stretch the floor and are all-D caliber defenders.
