I'd much rather have Warren than KCP. Just see more potential with Warren.

I am more interested if we could grab Stanimal from them cheaply.

KCP is a good player. Rather pay him $20 million than pay Len $16. But I like Johnson as well.

As for Tucker, one idea i had, and who knows how down they will be, but i think that Tucker/Chandler would do great for the Spurs.

Tucker/Chandler for Ginobilli (Buyout)/ Murray/2017 1st (or even a future 1st).

Ginobilli really isnt doing much with the Spurs and really isnt playing that many minutes. At 39 years old, i feel like they could get more out of Tucker and Chandler (specially in the playoffs) than they will get from Ginobilli. He is on an expiring contract, and we can just buy him out and let him retire a few months early.

Unfortunately its against the NBA rules for us to trade for him, buy him out, then he re-sign to the Spurs for cheap cheap (Since he would already have got paid in full from the buyout). So i doubt the Spurs would do it, as more of a respect thing rather than a "It doesnt make basketball sense" thing.

I'd love that trade but I am not sure they would want to give 2 firsts (Murray has 1st round value to them imo) for those 2 guys. I would easily do it though if SAS wanted to. We can sit Ginobli or even throw in Barbosa to SAS and just give Ginobli Barbosa's minutes.

If we aren't targeting Butler than I'd hope we trade Knight for Okafor. Nothing to lose here. If we are able to get a 1st for Chandler than we should trade him too. Give the minutes to Len and Okafor. See what Bledsoe/Booker are capable of doing with a big man who can post up.

My value for him? None. Honestly, i wouldnt even bother. I think he is too small (6'5) to play any major minutes at SF and i believe Booker should stay at SG rather than to try to play out of position. KCP is known for his defense 1st and foremost, and his size allows him to to cover PG's and SG's. His 3 point shooting has been atrocious, and even though he has had some high point games, they have been on horrible percentages. He has become a bit of a chucker, and i really think he has been overrated. I think he will end up getting a large contract based on his "Potential", but feel like he will never fully reach that "potential" that people see in him. It reminds me of guys like Kent Bazemore and DeMarre Carroll and Allen Crabbe and to some extent Solomon Hill. There will be a team with money to spend that misses out on their FA targets and offer him a large deal, then it will be up to Detroit to match. I could really see them letting him go, because just like all those players i just named, the team that signed them to those crazy deals almost instantly regretted it a few months later.

Exactly, the only thing saving KCP is his defense. I think everybody who hates Knight would really hate KCP. I mean if we were looking for a KCP type of player, we would just hold on to Tucker, who is going to be paid much less and can guard any position from SG/SF/PF/And even some C's.

It sounds like the Sixers FO has the same problem as ours - they overvalue their players.

I'm honestly ready to be blindsided by something in the next 11 hours.

Ever since McD took office, the FO has been tight-lipped on pretty much every deal that has been made.

Cousins was "leaked" by Gambo. And that is pretty much the ONLY potential trade that has been leaked in YEARS by my recollection. And even still, it has to be taken with a grain of salt. BK to Philly for Okafor has been talked about by us for at least a year, so that would not be surprising in the least.

At this point i think (or at least am hoping) that nobody outside the Suns FO knows what's going on, and i hope that by sometime tomorrow i'll be jaw-dropped by something that happens. That or else i'll shrug my shoulders and say "not surprising."

At the end of the day though, when it comes to Cousins i dont blame McD for not getting him. I said i before and I'll say it again....Sac was so enamored with Hield that they traded Cousins. And there is nothing we could have done (outside of having Hield in the first place) to make a trade go down. Sac stopped returning phone calls, and we could not have anything to make them listen with the phone turned off.

I've been checking the forum like every hour at least in the last weeks hoping for a trade, even if just for a trade's sake, but at this point I'm more than fine standing pat.
I think a trade in the off-season/draft day makes a lot more sense for us than doing something now.

- We can see where our pick lands, have more time to evaluate our potential picks.

- Knight's value can't get any lower so we might as well play him and see what happens (I hate watching him too). We don't need the cap space and worst that can happen is us losing more games. Like some have suggested, start him every other game and rest Bledsoe.

- One of the few things that are right with the squad today is chemistry and an off-season trade does way less harm than one half way through, _especially_ if it were to be Bledsoe.
