Well, if no none wants centers, then maybe we will be able to re-sign Len for $6M per year or something.

I think the answer is simple - we're not.
Brandon Knight is going to be playing basketball for the Phoenix Suns throughout the entirety of his contract.
It's really not that bad. Most teams have a terrible contract right now because no one knew how to deal with the cap blowing up. Brandon is ours. I'd much rather have BKnight than Miles Plumlee/Ian Mahimi/etc. at their respective salaries.
I really think it's just time we make this guy feel comfortable in the Valley. Embrace being our sixth man Brandon - learn from LB.
Someone reported or tweeted (I thought someone reputable) that Brandon Knight wants a new home, but the asking price had been too high. So if him and his agent has asked for a trade, you'd still not take a 2nd for him? Even a high 2nd?

This is what McD does ever year. He will not make a move until he has used every second of his time to work every possible deal. He made three trades at the same time two years ago, traded gortat like right before the season or pre-season. Chriss on draft night. We arent making a move til the clock runs out

I'm sure we replied, If you want to be traded, please play well enough to make yourself worth a first rounder. Once upon a time, you were worth much more.

Sometimes that works (teams put their best offer up at the last minute) and sometimes it backfires (they go with another deal instead).

My guess is they've asked for a trade a long time ago, so I don't think anything has changed there. I just hope things don't blow up like it did with Dragic.

I've been saying this for a couple months now. I don't think Len get nearly the contract offer that some believe he will. I really think we're going to see a market correction and teams are going to stop paying big money for back up bigs because it's just so hard to find playing time for C's.

They will have the rights to an entire Bulkins based Euro league team when this is all said and done.

I honestly wouldn't. We don't need cap space - we need talented players. Brandon Knight, as underwhelming as he's been, is likely a better player than anyone we'll find in the second round.
Sing Kumbaya with me BW. Learn to love. Dream of our boy BKnight and his many 3/11 performances for the next 4 years.

He's being Bryan. He's not a good GM. Never has been.

I think he is perfectly fine with standing in place this season since no core players are in a position to leave

That and, other than the Draft, we don't really have any big FA signings to look forward to add to our CORE. No need to shed BK for salary reasons. I don't see any FA signing with us this summer. Keep him and pray for the best.

Looks like George might get moved and then they are trying to clear more roster space. Not that we are interested.

Unless you meant to put that in green, you just ruined your credibility with me, sunsbum.
