Since Jokic was put in as the starting center they are 15-11 when he plays. I think that has as much to do with the improvement of the team as the schedule as it was pretty brutal to start the season but it was worse the last few weeks since they got back from London.

To put the difference Jokic has made into perspective in all the other games for the Nuggets this year they are 10-19. the games where Jokic has not played they are 2-5.

Wonder how the Cousins and any other trades will affect this prognostication.

Slightly. They probably now are a bigger favorite to get the 8 seed (though I'd still pick Denver). Some one on the Pelicans forum was saying they would get the 5 seed but at least go past OKC. I explained they were 9 games back of OKC with 26 to go, so if OKC even went 500 the rest of the way (and they would likely do better), they would go 13-13, requiring NOP to go 23-3.

I hope Denver makes it for several reasons. I like Denver. Used to live there. Great place. I think it's a fun team. I also feel bad for Kings fans, so the better pick they get from the Pels, the better as well.

I think it will probably take a little time for the Pelicans to gel, so I think as long as the Nuggets stay healthy, they can hang onto that pick.

Nuggets are 4-5 so far in February. Looks like my hope for a 9 win month were way out of line.
We have 4 games left: @Kings - Nets - Grizzlies - @Bulls.
What do you think? 3-1 or 2-2?

Extremely difficult to say right now, give me an extra hour and I'll tell you when I know who's still on the nuggets lol

If we can reach 41-41 (8 win in march and 5 in april) we probably be the 8th seed in WC.

Unfortunately denver close february with a 6-7 record: that loss against Sacramento really hurt us. On the bright side the other teams in the WC struggle as well and we didn't have new injury.
Now we have a tough schedule (3 Huston, 2 OKC plus another 5 PO teams) so will be crucial the 3 games against the Pelicans and the game vs Portland.

Dang I missed it by 2 games....

Games against Pelicans, Blazers and Kings will determine our 8th seed fate.
