This reminds me of the Knicks almost pulling out of the Melo deal due to the inclusion of Mozgov.

Maybe Phil thinks Rubio is too much of an injury risk to take on without an additional assset coming the Knicks' way.

This forum is the best. Phil not making a trade just to make it and everyone up in arms. Weren't we tired of old regimes making trades just for the sake of it? Isn't tanking just what we want, to draft a player who will end up better than Rubio? Fine, let Rose walk, that's PERFECTLY fine.

exactly, but NY is always a fanbase that will believe a Ricky Rubio can turn it around for them, so they will continue to throw new faces every season, and the fanbase will continue to eat it up. were never going to do a true rebuild here, because they dont have too. 3 threads of Rubio love should reaffirm this fanbase is simple.
