Post-trade deadline thoughts...

I'm actually pretty happy with the deadline.

Traded super-dui Tucker and acquired druglord Mike Scott and Jared Sullinger (2 2nd round picks!)
Your thoughts guys?

Knight better be starting. I'm surprised we didn't move Chandler.

Aren't you guys overreacting? Sullinger + 2 future 2nd round picks is not bad for someone who is gonna be a FA in 2 months.

We tried to move both but unfortunately no team wanted our garbage.

If we are keeping Knight then he better be starting more games in place of Bledsoe who we should be resting more frequently.

Obviously we all wish we could have gotten a first for PJ but oh well two 2nd rounders isn't awful. Helps get Warren more minutes as well. Wish Knight and Chandler could have been moved but oh well

Embrace the Tank! I really felt we needed to get rid of Knight though.

Yea a first would have have been great but I'm happy. Helps us suck a bit more and gives us some additional assets.

Nothing would make me happier than Boston not landing a top 2 spot in this years draft.

Good get by McD for PJ

2 future 2nds especially if there are no protections could be better than 1 late first. Time will tell

Trade deadline went exactly how I expected: No selling Knight at his rock-bottom value for peanuts, trading PJ to a "contender" for what was obviously not going to be a 1st round pick considering what other more valuable players got, and making a small move to get to the salary floor. Drummond wasn't going to happen, he doesn't remotely fit what we're trying to build towards as a team that can run the floor and defend multiple positions.

No PJ should help keep this tank rolling to the end of the season, as this will be a pretty big hit on our already absolutely terrible defense.

Hopefully our medical staff can work wonders on Sullinger and he brings us something. Tucker was the hardest worker in the gym and I know Sullinger won't give us the same, so all I ask is that he gets buckets.

We better be tanking hard. I will not accept anything less than the second pick.

Disgusting. McDonough said that he does not value 2nd round picks at this point because we have so many prospects, young players and picks and......he trades Tucker for two low second round picks!

Tucker is a warrior and a terrific defender and he wanted to stay here. Now, he is on his way to Toronto and he is not gonna sign here in the summer after that. Players are humans, no assets or robots.

We have lost Tucker for nothing.

Not sure this makes us worse. Dudley is solid at everything.
