This is where purposely tanking hurts you. Players don't want to tank so when you hold out a perfectly healthy player who wants to play, you piss him off.

Then when he's actually injured, you diminish his injury to sell tickets.

Fortunately Embiid is likely under the Sixers' control for another 4-5 seasons. He's not going to turn down a $200 million contract that no other team can offer him. Now if we are in the same boat when he's ready to be an UFA, then I'd be legitimately concerned.

Did ya'll realize that in the last 10 games Embiid played in we were 8-2?

In those 10 games: +15.2 with him, -7.4 without him.

We were legitimately a very good team in January with him on the court. Played evenly with the Rockets despite Harden's career night.
