Is there anymore doubt that Andre and Reggie are the main problems here?

Honestly? It should be clear as day to everybody at this point. Its no coincidence that this team CONSTANTLY looks light years better when those two are off the floor. Dump them both this off season and build around KCP.

RJ should be benched if we really are committed to winning more games because he ain't going to cut it right now.

Dre, I still have some stupid blind faith since he's a large body and he has moments where his defense comes alive. The main culprit for me is always RJ first before we go down the ladder. Part of the reason is RJ commands the bulk of usage rate on our team by a looooong shot.

For Reggie at least it seems very evident that he's not the player he was last year & this team is just far better with Ish Smith at the helm. Everybody seems to have been in agreement of that for a while now. I was one of Reggie's biggest defenders when people were calling for his head 3-5 games in to his return, but at this point we've had quite a while to let him get acclimated an the proof is in the pudding. And KCP in particular seems to benefit heavily from his increased role when Reggie isn't on the floor.

I disagree with the Reggie part. The injury has definitely hobbled him, but when he's healthy, he's still a huge ball hog. Reggie's game is really only good for himself and whoever he's running P&R with. Everyone else gets hung out to dry. And KCP is definitely better than Reggie, so there's no way I'd want even a healthy Reggie on this team.

IDK, even when he was healthy he couldnt guard a guy in a wheelchair and too often played hero ball. He was clutch at the end of some games, though, I will give him that. But thats about it. Healthy or not, hes not a starting PG on a contender.

Yea tonight for example was about match ups Kaminksy was playing C for them even though he's a 4, so Leuer made more sense down the stretch..I know people will trash Dre for not playing down the stretch, but it was the right call by SVG.

I'm definitely ready to move on from Reggie because his game hurts other players (particularly KCP)... but like others have said I still think Dre is better than what we could get in return for him (just look at what Cousins got). I have to wonder if we were to patch up that defensive hole at PG, if Dre's deficiencies on that end would be significantly minimized. He's still probably the best rebounder in the game, and gets us more effortless buckets than anyone. Move him for the right piece, sure... Otherwise? nah.

Our best hope is that Reggie is willing to take a smaller role and come of the bench where he can be more of a gunner. Maybe fewer minutes would help his injury and conditioning issues.

They did get offered Val and a 1st. He has some nice value and should for awhile. A 23 year old athletic freak who can put up 20/20 games is always an intriguing player
