Word is Cousins isn't exactly blameless. Per Lowe, there was no other market for him. I think that says more about him than it does about the Kings.

Supposedly Denver and phoenix were both offering what sane people would consider better packages. And it's not exactly breaking news that his value was less than other stars, but common sense says they could've gotten more than this.

Watched the first half of nola/hou and two things stood out

1) watching Houston do exactly what we should've is frustrating. Every time they throw up a 3 it looks good.

2) Nola is going to be so much fun to watch. Boogie and Davis basically trading turns obliterating guys from all areas of the floor and still running up and down. As someone who likes watching skilled bigs I'll definitely be keeping an eye on them.

Cousins finished one block shy of a 5x5 game. He and Davis got no help, its clear they're going to have to figure out how to integrate other players instead of looking for those 2 isoed constantly. Still, its a nice foundation.

It may be because of Rudy Gay not Cousins.

They had won 4 in a row before losing to the Warriors right before the break. That includes beating both Boston and Atlanta.

Iirc they have a weak schedule coming up. Imo that's a PR win, they can win some games and pretend it's chemistry.

Our fans greet our new guys at the airport. This happens in Chicago...

Lol melo drops thirty-seven including the game winner against Philly so NYK is two games ahead of them instead of tied. He's going to do his damnedest to make sure Phil doesn't get a top pick just to spite him.

They won against Cleveland with Payne in the roster in his first game so can we call him CavsKiller now?

Don't ever want a guy to be injured, but if he were to miss the playoffs I'd be rooting for GSW to win the championship (if we're knocked out obviously), nothing could cement the damage to his legacy better than that.

How insane is that. Sucks for him. And kinda agree with spearsy, though I think he's back sooner and still would probably like to see them lose. Whoever it is injuries stink. If this happens and their cap gets screwed next year from him opting out...well then.

Never thought of it like that but you're right. I don't wish injuries either but I won't shed a tear for this.

Let this be a lesson for anyone who says that the regular season is meaningless. This is exactly why the RS has meaning. Don't wish injury on anyone, but these things do happen. Trading Russ away and tanking is self defeating.
