And I'm sure if he needs another surgery, they will inexplicably delay so next season is somehow in doubt. Even if he had surgery today, you just don't that eight months isn't going to be enough to heal for this team where a paper cut is a life threatening injury.

BC better leave the safety of his cave and address this. The media better not hold back as he has some tough questions to answer.

This world class medical team of ours is an absolute joke. Another injury setback to a key player... my confidence in this organization is hanging by a thread. What a **** show.

You mean the one where they fix your foot but at the same time cause very slight knee ligament tears? No thanks.

This is karma for having to listen to the homers tell me year after year about how our medical staff and Brett Brown's "innovative" sports science was the best in the world

People keep saying get it fixed and be back 100% next season what if that doesn't happen and he's still out. Or what if he can actually play on this fracture and it natuarally heals its self over time and needs him to play on it to actually heal?

A lot of what ifs but to me this sounds like a ploy just to have him sit out the rest of the year....I hope we are successful but I do hope if he's sitting out just so he can be ROY that it doesn't happen.

Doesn't sound good but I want to see more reports. The tweet about not knowing if it is a new or old break is kind of telling of how little information he has.

This is exactly the same path as with Embiid, isn't it?

He was never going to play this season, as I predicted.

The way Simmons is acting on Social Media... it is 99.999999% another injury or setback.

we all just saw video of him shooting in practice, and reading reports of him working out and such

how on earth can he have a new break... as if he wouldnt feel that pain and alert someone while working out/shooting?

This just doesn't seem right to me... Now I can see the scan showing the fracture not fully healed, but close, meaning he probably doesn't feel pain just doing light running/jumping.. but a new break?? there is just no way.

If after all this time it re-broke or isn't close to healed, then the original injury is MUCH WORSE than they originally said.. which again wouldn't shock me

I am so sick of this
