Bulls fan here. You won't find a better player to cheer for than Taj. Seriously - the guy is an unbelievable team mate. Every single night he brings it. Taj is one of my favorite Bulls of all time - and I've been a fan since the late 80's. He's playoff battle tested and he'll be a HUGE boost for you guys. I love him. We will miss him badly.
Unfortunately McDermott is a different story. He's a pretty harmful player. Hopefully he improves in a different system alongside Westbrook - but I would keep my expectations for him pretty limited.
Either way - you guys killed us on the deal. We're such a disaster that it doesn't really matter at this point but hopefully it helps you guys in the post-season. Good luck!

Totally disagree about Doug, and I've seen every game he's payed in the NBA. When he gets the ball, the guy can flat out score from any angle. The ball also never sticks to him -- he's a willing passer. You won't be disappointed. On defense, he's made strides and puts the effort in -- he's probably still a below average defender, but progress has been made.

Huh? He's awful. How could anybody who has watched every game he's played in the NBA possibly draw a different conclusion. The guy has a PER of 11.5 this season -- and that's his best ever. His friggin' PER is nearly 5.0 below league average. By every statistical measure (simple and advanced) he's a net-negative player. He's incredibly harmful.
I mean, hopefully he does better but to date - he's a fringe NBA player, at best.

I think a lot of the same things were being said about Kyle Korver during his early years in the league.

Not stating he will become him but that is the idea that he cam come in stand @ the 3 point line and get buckets from Westbrooks penetration.

They're both white, I'll give you that.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

He's a hard worker. Smart player. Puts in practice time, solid fundamentals. Insert other white player stereotype here.

Doug's a good shooter but Korver is on another level.

And McBuckets has a wider array of offensive skills. Not to say he's better, because being a near GOAT level 3 point shooter is vastly more important than being able to hit a fadeaway from 15 feet out, but he's not AS dependent on others to get him open via screen or pass. Trying to think of a comp... Maybe a poor man's Harrison Barnes?

Funny thing, I'm looking at who some sites have compared him to
Nbadraft.net- wally szczerbiak
Bleacher report- wally and Korver
Sbnation- antawn Jamison mixed with nick collison. Okay, Jamison was a guy i actually thought about but with a little less inside game. But Collison? I mean, those guys are absolutely nothing alike other than they can both get Sunburn on a cloudy day. Went on to compare him top Keith van horn. Tbf they said the best comp was glen rice, which avoid the white guy comp but is a crap comparison anyway.
Cbssports- Ryan Anderson
Fansided- pistol Pete (what. The. Fudge.)
CSN Philly- antawn Jamison! Finally no white guy mixed in.
