Yup. Not sure how I feel about this. How can we up his value if he doesn't play?

We cant. No one traded for him at the deadline, so no one will trade for him if he is just sitting on the bench racking up DNP's

By all accounts though, one of, if not the hardest working guy on our team. Might all just be mental now, he needs to embrace the Sixth Man role and we need Barbosa to get in this guy's head.

I hate Knight with a passion and even I'm confused why he didn't play today. McD says he didn't want to give him away for low value yet the very next game he doesn't play at all, I don't get it. lol

Why the DNP tonight then? I'm scratching my head on that one. We can't pay a guy that much to mope around.

Beats me why..

Its alright still plenty of games left, and we play each other one more time. That game should be interesting.

Gotta admit I liked Bender more than Chriss right around draft time. But I kinda like them more on the same level now, I just wish Bender would be given as much exposure as Chriss is having when he returns

Amare was my favorite player on the 2003+ teams so I was really hopeful chriss could bring back that excitement. I can definitely see some shades of amare in chriss, both good and bad.

I'm hoping Quese can keep playing like this the rest of the season and get us hyped for next year.

Chris is a true 4. Booker is a true 2.

We need a 1, a 3, or a TRUE 5,

Luckily the draft is loaded with 1's and 3's.

Williams with a great game. I'm loving this Tucker trade already. Then we don't even play Knight? :noway:

We'll see who really wants to tank in that game.

To me it confirmed what ive thought since watson ripped him in an interview earlier this year... watson straight up hates knight. Watson was a journeyman who got by on smarts and effort and i think he simply can't stand knights effort on d and decision making. I think knight would have been benched a month ago but mcd told him he needed to play him in an effort to trade him. If you believe the rumors the suns were basically ready to give him away for a 2nd rounder and when it didn't happen i think mcd let watson do what hes wanted to do for a while.

Now im mixed on this because while i cant stand watching him play and do want to see ulis in the rotation i do think playing him could help raise his value. Why not give him barbosas minutes? Then again the way hes played so far this season he might keep more value not playing.

If Knight plays do you think Williams, Ulis, DJJ have 16 points 6 rebounds 4 assists at HT?

He makes players worse as evidenced by his league bottom 1 percentile +/-

The vets who played today help ball movement in Dudley and Barbosa.

There's no need to play Knight every game.

Suns can just play him against the really bad teams like the Nets, Lakers, Magic etc because it will clinch a loss and he also has a better chance of playing well against a really bad team than other teams.

Way too many. His accuracy seems off, Suns should consider getting him contact lenses if it's an eye problem.

I'm fine with sitting Knight out completely some games. I doubt it happens but I'm hoping that Bledsoe will also sit out some games and we'll give Knight a chance to start and perhaps redeem himself.

Booker could use some rest too given the minutes he's played this season.

Knight is not going to redeem himself. Even in the games that he doesn't seem awful (which are very very very rare), he still makes everyone around him suck. He's a lost cause. His value is down to nothing because of playing him. Playing him more is not going to change that. He's hot garbage.

Playing him more in the same manner as we've used him to date isn't likely to improve things but I'm talking about letting him start the game as our point guard, backed up by Ulis (so no Bledsoe looming). Do I think it will work? Probably not. But if it fails, it will help the tank and even a small chance of bringing out the best in Brandon seems worth it to me. Especially since the cost of trying this approach is so minimal. He has talent and we have 20 some games to try and find it, I certainly don't want to still be dealing with this problem next season.

And Bledsoe does what? Sit? He's building great chemistry with Booker. I'd rather the team that played tonight use the rest of the season to build chemistry together than throw knight in there to show them all the wrong ways to play basketball. If he's one of the last ones in the gym after practice and he still sucks that badly, I dunno what you can do. He's certainly not going to build his value up against other teams' starters if he is one of the worst players in the league against other teams' bench players.

Knight is playing bad because he is being asked to be a Jamal Crawford scorer off the bench.

He was putting up good numbers when he was playing Booker/Bledsoe type role of running the offense or handling the ball.

Now.... In his new role... He is jacking up shots witin 4 to 5 seconds of touching it. And it doesnt help that he plays with Barbosa who is a tunnel vision guard.

I've been excited for him since SL.

I've been excited about him before we even drafted him. Always thought Bender received too much love from you guys, good bench player though.

You guys have been hard on Chriss. Chriss is the real deal. Can't wait for him to put weight on!
