Not a fan of getting into personal spat stuff. Want to keep it on topic as my reply to his tweet that night was whether or not they consider Kidd and Hammond to be in the top 25 or even 33% of their respective peers.

To me that is the money shot question that most organization defenders are not able to answer. Does anyone think Hammond is in the top 8-10 of GMs? Or that Kidd is in the top 8-10 of NBA coaches?

This franchise will never be a winner until they significantly upgrade those positions.

I get the angst about Beasley because of our tendency to overpay in these sorts of situations but geez fellas take a step back and try to look at things objectively...He's getting paid 1m and we gave up Ennis for him. He's a professional scorer and has provided that off the bench for us, efficiently. He's a below average defender but in this scheme we currently run we are absolute trash in general. Alot of issues with our roster, he's not one of em.

Beasley can be useful but starting him is pretty dumb since all he wants to do is dribble into a pull up 2. Him trying to defend small forwards is laughable as well.

It is a little like arguing about windshield wipers when the whole bus is broke, but it does go deeper as well. At least for me.
It's about throwing **** against the wall and hoping it will stick ala:
-Tanking is the only way
-We must trade all assets for picks pretty much every year
-Our eldest player must be 19 or under
-Players like ZsaZsa are a waste of time
- Dont sign player A because player B sucked 15 years ago
These kinds of thoughts are just thrown out there without really backing it up with a winning plan attached to it. Before you know it, everyone just assumes its the right thing to say and becomes a forum wide motto without having a clue why and no one ever backs it up with facts or intriguing opinions.
