You either win the title or you lose. There is no prize for 2nd.

thats true but 29 team are losers. even warriors or cavs their will be a loser. its fun to watch competitive. raptors have no history and been through so many years of tanking. completely satisfed with making ECF

No doubt, its way more fun being competitive even if you don't win the title.

I hope you guys strike gold with one of those 2nd round picks

PJ kept getting switched onto Thomas in the 4th quarter and proceeded to completely shut him down, he probably made the best defensive play I've seen from the Raptors all year long by just ripping the ball out of Isaiah's hands on a drive

Glad PJ came to play, he will definitely endear himself to you guys with his hustle and energy.. as long as you don't put the ball in his hands and ask him to create.

I'm watching the replay now, 3rd quarter call from the Raptors commentators "Tucker now playing in a game that actually matters" lmao... No chill.

Enjoy Tucker. He doesn't play the prettiest style of basketball, but you have to love that he leaves it all on the floor every game.

They're just mad they went 0-2 against the Suns this year :)

I cringed when I heard that, Matt Devlin can be a terrible commentator sometimes.

Too bad no team thought he was worth a first. I think pj is going to make a team regret not giving a first for him in the playoffs this year.

Tucker brings it! Totally threw Thomas off his game. Don't how you guys let this guy go.

I love that tucker was key in beating the celtics because they are the one team that has a stack of future 1sts and probably should have used one to get him.

As ive been saying this trade is great for pj. If he shows out hell make a few extra million on his next contract. Thats alot of shoes and nachos.

How many picks do the Celtics have over the next couple years? Danny didn't think pj was worth one of them? How many stashed players do they have?
I want PJ and the raptors to win the east.
I want to pull up the posts on other boards that trashed PJ and suns fans for thinking he's worth more than a couple 2nds.
I'm happy for PJ and hope he gets a contract that sets up his family for life. He can come back to phoenix in 4 years for a farewell season in a barbosa/Ronnie price role.

I'm going to look forward to the flack McD gets for this trade.

"Should have gotten a first for him" - well you cant get a first if nobody offers a first.

"We should have just kept him then" - then we'd have 2/3 of the board crying because he's getting minutes over the younger guys for the rest of the season.

For me this is a win/win/win trade for all.

Toronto gets their 3D guy that the DESPERATELY needed.
Tucker gets a chance to shine and compete for a championship - he's NEVER seen the playoffs
Suns get to let the youth play.

Chriss - 33
Warren - 38
Len - 35
Williams - 15
DJ - 14
Ulis - 13

Those 6 shot 30/47 or 64% from the field.

I agree there was no real reason not to trade him given he was a free agent, regardless of what the best offer was, but glad to see another team appreciates his efforts like many here did not do.

Tucker plays hard and will always show up. For a Raptors team which has its biggest stars constantly disappear in big games (Lowry/DeRozan), a player like Tucker should be a nice relief.

Their fans are grilling Ainge on their board because of them not trading one of the many late 1st rd picks they have for Tucker.

There was a chance he may have screwed up the tank. Personally, I thought the Suns should have kept him unless they got a 1st rd pick in return.
