Agree with this.

This was also the knock on him at Kansas. He is way to content to watch his teammates get theirs and doesnt want to step on their toes. Watch a couple of the games where embiid was out and bill self scrapped the high low offense. Wiggs exploded.

It would have been much easier to integrate 3 high usage guys if wiggy was developed to be more kawhi than Kobe from the start.

My man is on an absolute TEAR!! I'm a major Wiggles fanboy, I'll admit, but, honestly, why wouldn't I be?!? Kid's just an incredible scorer. Like, I've watched hoops afckofalong time, and it's clear as day with him. When he adds muscle, there will be no stopping him. A 225 pound Andrew Wiggins will be a sight to behold, indeed. I hesitate to put out numbers with him, just because he's playing alongside another total phenom in KAT, and they'll need to find some type of scoring synergy and balance eventually, but Wiggs just has the look of a scoring champion about him. There's people on the General Board, saying they're doubtful he'll ever be an All Star. I'm just like, "Huh?" You're **** crazy!

That's an interesting point. I've thought about that too. The easy solution is for Wigs to play 100% all the time especially when someone else has the ball. He can learn to do that as he matures. Wiggins still has big upside which is really something to think about.

If Rubio had any consistency to his game I'd be behind him 100%. Trouble is he doesn't. Can we win a championship with Rubio? I'm not seeing it. Trust me when I say nothing would make me happier than if Rubio were all world. I really like the kid. Just not his overall game.

He has a long way to go ... like most young players, he doesn't understand the impact of the "triple-double". Give him 2-3 years... til then he'll be dialed into scoring and learning to play defense.

I listen to a Wolves pod (Two Man Wolf Pack -- highly recommended as they're regular dudes with good dialogue) and one of the last pods a guy wrote in with a new knick name for Wiggy...

...THE MAPLE LEAP!

I love it, way better than "Maple Jordan" (never include another players name in your knick name, e.g. Baby Shaq - lame) and "Ender" (this is actually a cool name, and I liked Ender's Game, but it's too obscure for most people.)

I'll be utilizing the name moving forward, not my idea, but a damned good one. Hopefully it catches on because there really aren't enough good knick names in the league right now.

Wiggins now holds the Wolves record for most consecutive 20+ point games at 17 and counting.

KG had 16 consecutive games

I love how his activity has been progressing this year. I used to hate how casual he approached the game, but I think Thibs is really starting to bring him out of his shell and I love it

I've been following him since high school, this is definitely true. He deferred to teammates with a quarter of his talent that didn't even deserve to hold his jock strap. If Wiggins realizes how good he is one day he's going to be a superstar.

I think Wiggy played some stellar man-to-man D vs the Kings. He has the chance to be a Lebron stopper once he gets muscle on that frame.

im curious regarding wiggins future deloppment. Wiggins and Porzingis are the most interesting youngsters for me to follow. Wiggins is just in his third year and already averaging 23 points on 45%. What do you guys think will be his peak? one or two time AS? one or two time All-nba? consistent AS/all-nba?

I think it's a matter of team success. The minute the Wolves get in the playoffs picture, Wiggins is going to be a consistent AS/all-nba IMO.

One or two all-star games? As his peak? That's pretty low imo.

Interesting articel I come about.Yeah, BR, and we can discuss the metrics they used
Drew is rated as the worst defensive SF in the league, Zach and Karl didn't make the list.

I knew it sounded wrong when Jim Pete said Wiggins was an "excellent defender" in the latest Jon Krawczynski podcast, but damn. He's really gotta ratchet that D up 3 or 4 levels.
