Lots of confusion on defense. At least it looks like Joerger is really into playing his only 2 PG's together and Willie and Kosta. That's called building for the future. :-?

I don't think Marco made 4 shots in a game for us even once.

Way too much dribbling from the Kings PG's. Teams are going to let the two Ty's dribble the ball into the floor and just play off of them. There is no spacing with the lineups Joerger is putting out there. The positive is Joerger has found his Tank supreme lineups for sure.

Sadly tanking is probably clearly the best thing for us so that we can get 2 lottery picks in this supposedly stacked draft.

We couldn't stop that run in the 3rd that pushed the lead up. Now its just trading baskets. Well, at least we don't have to wait long to come back to earth.

Despite the loss like what I saw from Skal/Hield in particular Skal who clearly based on talent has the highest upside on the team.

Today is an example of why Willie go's as the team go's. If the ball movement stops, WCS's impact on offense dramatically decreases.

They shut down Willie this game. That's all. If Willie has 15 points, we win. We did a good job defensively. Kept them under 100 and held them to 40% shooting.

These types of games will happen with a young team. It's all about how we play on the 27th against the Wolves. How do we respond as a team? Thats what really matters with a young team like we've got. We just need to continue to play hard, move the ball better, WCS needs to be more involved than he was today. Awesome game by Skal.

And there were a ton of ball stopping types of lineups out there too. Tyreke and TyLaw is a no-no if you are trying to not put the ugliest possible basketball team on the floor. Same goes for Willie and Koufos. The again, maybe that's the plan? 8-)

Ben is not a SF and can't defend them EVER. There were a lot of space killing lineups out there. Joerger used Cousins to space and now you have Lawson/Collison attempting to penetrate while all of any combination of Skal, Kosta, and Willie are already inside. Ben, Buddy, and the majority of the guards had very little room until late in the game when he finally ditched the two PG lineup and spaced the floor a bit more.

You can't let teams stack you in the paint and wonder why the floor looks so dang small. Smart teams will also pressure like they did today because the players obviously don't know eachothers games yet. Back to square one.
