We tried to get him before but he chose the Warriors over us, thus the McCallum signing. Would explain why we've waited to sign another PG.

If we land him, really hope we give him a guaranteed deal that includes next season. Between him and Wood, that would be some solid talent in the pipeline.

@KeithSmithNBA
It is widely expected around the NBA that Briante Weber will sign a 10 Day Contract with CHA. Possibly today & meet the team in Los Angeles.

@KeithSmithNBA
Other teams have interest, but CHA has an immediate need & the most clear path to PT for Weber with only Brian Roberts behind Kemba Walker.

Not to be an ass, because I've seen his name thrown around a lot, but why is he such a catch?

He's scored in double digits twice in his career and has one game with >5 assists. Somebody edumacate me

I believe he's a pretty good defender and a good passer. He's not going to score a ton. Seems like a good guy to try out for the remainder of a wasted season. I want to see what this kid has in him.

He's a pesky defender, which I think is his best skill. He averaged 3.3 steals per game along with 7 boards and 7 assists in the NBDL - http://stats.nbadleague.com/player/#!/1627362/

Scrappy defender with solid athleticism and quickness that can move the ball and score opportunistically.

I think the front office is trying to troll you :wink: . They read your post from yesterday about being tired of fixing broken jumpers and then went and signed a guard who can't shoot 3s at all.

He was pretty much the best PG in the d league. He is a good defender, good athlete and he is young. He could stick

Hes a really, really good defender
