Isaac is the upside boom/bust guy in this draft. If he puts it all together you might have a franchise cornerstone.

I rather look into a SF/PF player. The Kings do not have a legit SF prospect on the team. Players like Jayson Tatum, or Jonathan Isaac would be something to be considered in the Kings' big board, imo.

Then, a prospect PG would be next.

If the Kings can nail both of their lotto picks (assuming the Pelicans will not make it to the playoffs), I think we have a very good foundation going forward. That, and a large amount of cap-space too.

I was highly critical about Vlade's decision on trading Cousins -- but all is not lost. The Kings still have (potentially) a solid amount of assets moving forward, imo.

Cousins got a technical foul, two personal fouls, and called a fan a "bitch" in less than two minutes. Had to sit with 10 minutes left in the first. The tech was unrelated to the personal fouls... wow what a horrible start.

Yeah, he will be -- unless, the Pelicans successfully appeal to rescind the technical.

If Pelicans not gonna win against OKC, then according to Tankaton it will be a top 5 pick right now.

Ideally we come away with a pg and a sf/pf. I think it depends on where the picks are on what order we go and what prospects fall.

Best case scenario would be getting 2 picks back to back like 7/8 or something. Let's see how vlade does on 2 more top 10 guys.

Pelicans lost today and the Boogie & the Brow experiment is still a work in progress. There is a good chance that they will not make the playoffs this season. If we are lucky, we get another top-10 pick. Including our own (assuming it is inside top-10 as well).

PG & SF are definitely the target areas heading into the draft, imo. Argh! Why didn't the Kings traded away Rudy earlier in the season??

I'm hoping for De'aaron Fox and one of those three but would be happy with Monk too. Dude can definitely score the ball. I think Fox is going to be really good though.

Still I just looked at their schedule, it's pretty rough.

Pistons, Spurs, 2x Jazz, Raptors, Hornets, 2x Lakers, 2x Trail Blazers, Heat, Rockets, Grizzlies, T'wolves, 3x Nuggets, Mavericks, Bulls, Kings, Warriors.

Best case scenario top 10 pick.

If Pelicans keep losing they can go in tank mode as well and you never know with the lottery. The top 3 protection scares me.

They ain't catching Suns or Lakers, I'm not scared about that.

First of all, Lakers need to be in TOP 3 to not lose a pick and Suns are blowing leads left and right.

The three worst teams at the end of the season will be in this order imo.

1. Nets
2. Lakers
3. Suns.

If they are close to at the end of the season, just gotta hope that they are not getting the right ping pong balls, because this is our best chance to get a Top 10 pick from Pelicans, because if they get that in that TOP 3 spot, the next years 1st round pick is gonna be not a lottery pick, that's a lock.

The problem right now is of the bottom tier teams that Dallas is really the only team winning enough ,
I hope Portland , Dallas , Minny , Denver , Char , N.Y.K , & Mil start winning those are the key teams right now .
We need at least 4 of them to pass us if we want our pick most likely .
I realize Denver is ahead of us but hey must stay ahead for the pick .
