I understand your thinking but I want to point out two things:

First) While Rose might not have much value right now, there is an asset that we can acquire for him.

Second) Is Reggie Jackson, who would be coming on his second year of an 80mill dollar deal the answer?

I think it would tie us up for future deals in the summer. Jrue Holiday is somebody we are big on, I think also need to hold out hope on CP3 but more realistically, Lowry.

what kind of dumb **** is this, why would the knicks...who are clearly building around their 21 yearold stud... sign point guards older than 30?

Yeah bruhh... did you not just see what got signed this past off-season? Although it was clear last season we are building around our "21 yearold stud".

I don't like his game but I like his mentality. He has that old school, don't be friends with the other teams.

Good thing we traded him for something. Just another feather in the cap of this FO

Let the excuses begin. It's been a few days.

They couldn't even convince Brandon Jennings to stick around this crap franchise

You do realize that trading requires 2 people, right?
That's why the Mavs tried to trade Deron, but nobody wanted him, so they cut him
If nobody wanted Jennings, how were we supposed to trade him?

There's gotta be something else behind this that we most likely won't find out about cause when you have guiys like Sasha and N'Dour sitting on the bench you don't cut one of the few guys that are actually playing well for us.

Would you rather have B.Jennings who we know what he can do or C.Randle who some think can play in the NBA?? Maybe they wanna groom him from the start for the triangle offense.

They want to groom a shoot first PG who was undrafted and who couldn't stick with the team in the NBA with the worst PG rotation as the future starting PG? Hope that's not the plan. Tanking should be the plan and hopefully trading the guy that probably had the biggest issue with the losing is all just about that.

"Want to win?", "Positive attitude?" "We can't have any of that, we tanking!!!"

Rose isn't going anywhere. He needs a team to own his Bird Rights and a GM that is just loony enough to give him a big contract.

Initially I was a supporter of the triangle as I thought it was a ball movement offense, but honestly, most I've seen of it with the Knicks involves a dump to the post, the PG locked in at the corner 3 and KP on the weakside 3 to stretch the floor. Ok, this is an exaggeration, but I've seen that set a lot, it's boring and it turns KP into supersized Novak. And while the rest of his game surely needs work, he can be more than that. But not when they run the triangle it seems.

Anyway, I'm sick of Jackson leaking stuff to his personal Pravda to slam players etc.

Jennings wasn't staying anyway, so who cares.

The whole team is full of "who cares" players, outside KP and WillieB, the only 2 guys who will be here long term.

Melo? Gone eventually. Who cares.
Rose? Gone after this year. Who cares.
Jennings? Was going to be gone. Now gone. Who cares.
Noah? Sucks, wish he was gone, stuck with his rotting corpse. Who cares.
LFT? Goofy f*ck who sucks. Who cares.
Sasha? Blows. Who cares.
N'Dour? Sucks. Who cares.
Holiday? Probably leaves. So, who cares.
Kuz? Half care to see what he looks like after he adjusts.
Baker? 3rd string PG. Who cares.
Plumlee. 5th string center. Who cares.
KOQ - eh, half care.
CLee. Boring to watch, half care.
Randle, the return of. Scrub. Who cares.

Quite the compelling collection.

Who said anything about grooming Randle to be the future starter?? The kid has talent but i don't see him as a starting PG in the NBA but he could become a good backup and Philly cut him cause they had to cut him but they saw enough of him to sign him after his 10 day contract so they clearly saw something in him.
