We had our pick of Weber, Ferrell, Randle and Farmer. We arguably settled for the 3rd best choice out of the 4 guys we brought in.

Let's not go crazy. Randle has had limited tome, and his real appeal is potential fit next to Simmons. Yogi isn't a hof player any more than Lin (remember him??)

This could be considered a philosophical question.

Defensive-based, nonathletic lead guard that can't shoot or score vs. undersized but quick combo guard that can shoot and score but can't defend.

McConnell was the better and more impactful college player. I think I'd rather have him as my 2nd or 3rd guard than Yogi.

For people who thinks that Yogi Ferrell is the new Kyrie Irving because he played really well 3-4 games in a row, just check tonight boxscore, lol. The guy was just on fire for a week, he's going to be back at his real level now. (same level as Randle I expect)

We need more depth at PF at the moment anyway, but glad to see him get another shot. Liked Briante Webber better as a prospect.

It's funny that we traded ersan and noel to clear up some log jam but now we have no one to backup Saric. Is there any worthy PF in the d-league that can be looked at?

Would be nice if we still had Christian Wood, but he was sacrificed on the Snakangelo's altar to veteranosity in exchange for the corpse of Elton Brand.

Thanks again Snake and Son!

No worries, we still have the corps of Splitter and Bogut! BC is on a roll.

Sure. It's not like we have a massive gaping chasm at PF now behind Dario Saric. I suppose we can play Dario for 40+ mpg instead to pump his ROY campaign.

We could use someone NOW....but heading into the season we had a glut of big men. Embiid/Simmons/Noel/Okafor/Saric/Ersan/Holmes.
Now, fast forward 4-5 months, yea we could use another big body, but we also needed a guard at a point during the season when we were limited to just 1 point guard.

Easy to sit back and ridicule every single transaction that took place months ago. Wood would have never gotten any minutes here until mid/late February if at all.Hell, Holmes who is much better than Wood struggled to get minutes to the extent he had to go play in the D league to get more run.

not sure how having 8/15 roster spots taken up by bigs benefits the team early on.

If we need a big, I'm sure we could snatch someone up right now off the wire or via D-League who is every bit as good if not better then Christian Wood.

I think most of what you posted is reasonable but not sure about the bolded. Wood is 21, was a mid-1st potential prospect pre-draft that likely went undrafted due to character concerns, and has dominated the D-League. I don't think you can find any bigs on waivers with his upside. I would pretty happily give up a 2nd right now to have him back.

Terrence Jones. Then again, you might be a little higher on Wood then I am.

I am not ridiculing every transaction that took place months ago.

I am ridiculing your boys the Snakeangelo's sacrificing a talented prospect like Christian Wood on the altar of veteranosity in order to sign the corpse of Elton Brand.

A terrible move then. A terrible move now.

Terrence Jones is surely a better player, but I'd expect him to sign elsewhere, maybe Indiana.

At this point we just need a live body. Saric is the only healthy PF on the roster, with Roco doing overtime as his backup and Jah and Holmes at the five. If even one of those guys is out we will get to see if Justin Anderson just never got the chance he needed to play PF or C.

Or worse, Power Sauce.
