Of the different video versions of Morning to choose from, how did you not pick this one? Pure 80s comedy.
This video is a must watch, if even just on mute. I'd totally wear that sweater to work.

He's among the very best of that era of late 90s/early 2000s abstract hip hop artists who manage to stuff a track full of witty wordplay and deep lyricism over experimental beats. If you're into that stuff, you should absolutely check out Personal Journals. Sage has some powerful material on topics like family problems and addiction.
I always how to wonder, though, about the positives and negatives about this side of hip-hop. For a non-native speaker like myself, it can be difficult to comprehend some of the songs without really sitting down and paying attention. You can't really appreciate some of these artists without putting much work in.

Re: OT: What Are You Listening to Now?
Bay Area has so many unheard-of gems because of the way New York media and artists shaped the way we think of hip hop history. The themes can get a bit boring (a lot of simple talk about being gangsta) and some of the albums admittedly are tough to get through. Yet sometimes a track like this can unexpectedly come up on my iTunes shuffle and totally surprise you.
