If he was, he wouldn't have pulled him in the second half. But with 25 games left, unless we sign a veteran PG, you have to go with the hotter PG, which is right now is Sato. I could see him play Burke here and there, as long as he doesn't need ballhandling duties and just a shooter.

Sato hasn't even been 'hot per se, he's just not a trainwreck in every facet like Trey is

The move at this point would be to pickup Brandon Jennings - who just asked to be released from NYK in order to sign with a playoff team

Why not.

Time is running out anyway, can't wait too much if you want the second unit to have enough reps together.

Jennings is pretty terrible, but he's not egg on yo face bad like Burke is.

Just goes to show you just how desperate the Wizards backup guard situation is.

Jennings is bad, but he's a legit NBA player.

Wouldn't call it a Jennings bandwagon, but I'll get on too. Only other option at this point seems to be Sato.

Catch 22 with Mahinmi. He's been terrible but needs playing time to improve. Smith was playing so much better. IMO, play Smith this year, use Mahinmi for depth, and worry about getting Mahinmi up to par next year.

Jennings is a Cavs killer, Wiz to the Finals confirmed

In before he signs with another team.

Jennings is unguardable on the offensive end. He's quick in a similar vein as Isaiah Thomas/Kemba Walker. Too bad his shot selection is horrible and he isn't a great shooter. His assist to turnover ratio is really nice though. And his defense is terrible.

Jennings would give us a boost, but not enough to take us back to the 18-3 Wizards team. This team lives and dies with Markieff Morris. When he plays like he did in December and January, we're unbeatable.

Jennings ranks 45th in RPM among pgs

http://www.espn.com/nba/statistics/rpm/_/page/2/sort/RPM/position/1

which would obviously be a big upgrade.

I will buy everyone on this board a shot of Fireball @ Madams Organ tonight if Jennings is on this team and Burke is waived by 10 PM tonight.

It appears this will be more appropriate.

Use is recommended while watching Trey Burke run the 2nd unit.

queridiculo wrote:The Wizards got some good minutes from Jason Smith during their run, since the break he's pretty much disappeared from the rotation but in the four minutes he came off the bench against the Sixers he gave us more energy and hustle than any of the other bigs.

Mahinmi hasn't shown he belongs on the court, absolutely devastating signing by Grunfeld.

This
Jason smith brings alot of energy when hes in...I understand mahinmi contraCT but we need to play to win not keep players happy
Pay your beals....or its lights out!!!

I knew Mahinmi would disappoint

People keep moving on from him because they don't want to pay him starting center salary because quite frankly he isn't worth it, regardless of what the advanced stats say.

He dramatically pulled his hand away and rubbed his scalp and smiled as he walked way in the opposite direction. What a douche bag!

Leonsis got into a physical altercation with a fan back in the day. All things considered his behavior with fans is improving!
