Can we at least not get blown out of this one. Still salty towards Boston sports teams.

Blew them out on their home floor. Expected nothing else from this inconsistent group of Hawks after losing to Miami and Orlando.

At least our defense made an appearance for what seems like the first time in 2017. WHY CAN'T WE DEFEND ALL THE TIME? Or even SOME times ffs,

Been a while since they've been in control towards the end.

Dwight did apologize for not keeping his composure....

You guys should have known better. They are more guaranteed a loss against the Nets than they are against the Warriors.

Broke Isaiah's 20 point streak at 43.

Out rebounded Boston by 15, not hard when 5'9" Isaiah was their leading rebounder at 7.

Prince 12 rebounds, 3 asts, 2 stls, and a block to go along with 8 points. Most hope for a Kawhi-lite or think he's a DeMarre clone, I think the best comp I've seen was poor man's Gerald Wallace.

Man, did we need this win.

Man, did Dennis need this win.

Bleeding stopped. Now let's see how we respond as the schedule toughens greatly.

Read on Twitter

Was a ridiculous tech to dish out in the first place (I get that he hung on the rim for a split second but so did Jaylen Brown a few minutes prior with no call), and one which I figured would have catastrophic implications toward our endeavors tonight. Luckily we were able to hang tough and not get down in the dumps post-ejection.

Taurean is flying under the radar, he's so good.

Gerald Wallace comparison seems pretty apt. And that's not a bad thing, by any means. G Wallace was exceptionally productive for a lot of years.

AJC Recap

  • Dennis Schroder scored a game-high 21 points, including eight in the first quarter, on 9 of 14 shooting
  • Dwight Howard had 17 points and 12 rebounds (six offensive) in 27 minutes before ejection
  • Paul Millsap had 17 points and 10 rebounds in a team-high 32 minutes
  • The Hawks held a 55-40 rebounding edge, including 13-9 on the offensive glass
  • Taurean Prince played a career-high 30 minutes with eight points, 12 rebounds (five offensive), three assists, two steals and a block

Dennis Schroder wrote:“That’s Al. He was my veteran. That’s my guy even if he plays on a different team. He took care of me. I’m just the good guy in that situation.”

-Dennis Schroder on playing peacemaker after incident between Dwight Howard and Al Horford
