Historical Perspective:

Miami and Philadelphia have played 112 regular season games. The Heat leads the series by two games: 57-55. Miami has won 6 of our last 8. This season the Heat are 1-2, winning a game at home on Feb 4, 125-102, and losing both matches in Philadelphia, 94-101 on Nov 21 and 109-117 on Feb 11. Injuries:

Miami is missing Chris Bosh, Josh McRoberts, & Justise Winslow. Willie Reed is also likely out. Bosh has blood clot issues, McRoberts a foot stress reaction, and Winslow had shoulder surgery. Reed has a calf strain.

Philadelphia is missing Joel Embiid who is getting an MRI on his injured left knee. Jerryd Bayless had left wrist surgery, Tiago Splitter has a right hamstring strain, and Ben Simmons has a fractured foot.

Strategic Situation:

The 76ers are now likely doing player development and trying to secure a good draft pick. They have insurance in that they can swap picks with the Kings, who will also finish in the bottom 10. In this game, they have a spoiler role.

Miami is trying to make a late run for the playoffs, so every game matters.
