He is having 7 monster games in a row. He is always finding a way to score at least 14-15 points without relying on his 3 point shooting. Last year he would only score in double digits if he was hot from beyond the arc which Im glad is not the case anymore.

Props to Saric, I didnt think he will have this much impact this fast. I was expecting uneficient up and down year, and it was like that until recently. But in his last 8 games (16 if you exclude few duds) he is really good. Even helped win one game against Orlando (very clutch in 4th q).

I agree with this. I think Brown has the highest ceiling out of anyone in this draft and thought that before it happened as well. He just has a long ways to go still but you gotta love how he has looked so far this season. I think him Ingram and Simmons all have the highest ceilings then a big big drop off to anyone else. But ya if Brown ends up being the best in this draft it wont surprise me at all.

A Curry v. Curry first round series would be amazing to watch haha. But seriously, the kid is really playing well in Dallas, him and Yogi have really impressed in that situation, pretty much saved their season.

I think as roles is the biggest difference between them. Saric is the motor of 76ers and has high leadership ability. On top he has plays and sequences that directly influence the outcome of those games even on an off night. its his role that sets him apart.

Really glad seeing Saric transforming into NBA player. He always been my favorite young Croatian hands down. His passing in junior tournaments was insane. Fast wide open NBA game is perfect platform for these passing bigmen. These Euro bigs and their passing.

Saric is going nuts lately, but Brogdon's been playing well too. Leading scorer last night, still facilitating.

Still he is like at least two levels above everybody else from this class talent-wise(production too when he plays), so I wonder is it possible 31 games are enough for NBA to award ROY to it's newest star player.

Are there real concerns about Dunn? Was supposed to be pretty NBA ready. Only a rook tho of course.

I think he was very overrated as a prospect. I think it was one of those scenarios where people really talked themselves into liking him as a top 5 pick. Still think he can end up as a starter but Ive never seen anything more than just a solid starter from him. Give him a few years and he will be a solid rotation player.

I hope it's not possible. You give an award for the year and you would give it to someone who played less than 40% of it?

I think it could be logical to say that if you play 40% of a year, someone who played 59% worst for the whole year should beat you.

Joel Embiid has had far more positive impact in 31 games (1.1 VORP) than any other rookie who has played a full or near full season, including our guy Dario Saric (-0.3 VORP) and the other top contender Malcolm Brogdon (0.3 VORP). Note that VORP is a cumulative statistic that factors in how much you have played.

So Embiid SHOULD win.

Saric is just so good... 21/10/4 in 27 minutes. He had two great passes. It seems like he's already a leader. If only he had decent athleticism!
