Win #35: Wizards vs. Warriors POTG

Post#1 » by queridiculo » Wed Mar 1, 2017 1:15 pm

There was a time in Wizards land when we actually got excited about wins, this tradition seems to have gotten lost in the general suck of this franchise over the years.

Winner of the prestigious RealGM Wizards board POTG award gets a shot of fireball courtesy of Dat2U.

I may have to lean toward Keef who was "big" in the 4th quarter.

(The "big" reference was just for AFM).

It just occurred to me that Gortat might be deserving of an honorable mention, though I don't generally like to see players get hurt and doing so would attribute malice.

19 assists. Gotta be John. That's a sick number.

GSW get what they deserves. I mean flopping will hunt You back. Zaza was fouled by Gortat but his flopping/acting was over the top. He is grown ass man not thin small guy to fell out like that.

B2 just cause he's providing the scoring we've needed all season from the second unit

Definitely Wall. He dominated this game.

The zero fta by Wall is absurd. I don't think he took more than 5 jumpers, everything else was a shot at the rim. No other elite PG deals with this ish by the refs. Imagine Harden or Westbrook with zero attempts at the line...not possible.

Anyway, I voted Wall. Not only is he an elite playmaker he's our only playmaker. When he's in the game stuff gets done.

Picked Otto because although he wasn't the star last night when the Wiz needed a bucket or a rebound he was there.

Wall sucks at drawing contact to the point where it's borderline infuriating. He needs to learn to slow down when he attacks the rim, he goes so fast that the ref can't catch any contact. Maybe he should develop an euro-step move to draw hand swipes.

Funny. I was gonna come in here and pick Beal. His presence really was the focus of Golden State's D, freeing up those lob passes to Morris and those offensive rebounds by Gortat, Morris and Porter.

I guess this was a true team effort. 6 players have been mentioned so far.

Yo that bogdanavic and kelly combo with out burke looked real nice! Lossing burke is exactly what this team needed, I hate that Tomas is going to be riding the pine but its best right now, Jennings, kelly and Bogdanavic are going to make a great back up back court wing combination. I love it.

I voted for Beal, his 1st half set the tone for the game
