If it's a little frayed, it will need a slight trim, and it's 4-6 weeks. If it's a full tear, it's major surgery and 3-4 months. He said either way, he should be full-go for next season with no restrictions.
Note: he didn't factor in Dr. Kevorkian performing the surgery.
I logged back on just to see if there were any updates such as this by chance... perfect, just what I needed to hear. I knew this, but wanted to hear someone else say it as well. I myself have had 2 meniscus injuries, though one was much more severe as it also included cartilage tear and needed microfracture surgery and not just a meniscopy.
I don't see why he wouldn't be ready for next season.. there should be NO REASON. And honestly without simmons, its best we just not let him play rest of this season anyways.
If next year we dont have Embiid, Simmons, Saric, and whoever we draft this year 100% healthy at the start of the season, then I may just have to jump ship and stop even trying to follow this team as it has been nothing but heart ache and pain since Iverson left. I'm not sure I can take much more of it especially with ownership and incompetence like we have now
