There are several teams with 22 wins, and a few teams with 23 wins. We gotta be careful, or we can end up #8 in a flash. Going to be a nervous 5-6 weeks for me. And even then.....it's still a 50/50 at BEST

Easy bench Deng, Young and Mozgov. Give minutes to the young guys and Corey Brewer who apparently is terrible.

Like some tennis parents, he might end up being barred from attending matches. What a distraction.

He's not totally stupid. Lonzo is surely going no worse than 3rd and the Lakers keep their pick if its top 3. He's trying to dissuade 2 teams from picking him if Lakers end up 3rd in the lottery.

meh Ball could fall to 3 naturally anyways. Looks like every mock draft has Fultz at the top now and i would expect some of the other players to have a better combine.

The guy is as dense as two bricks. Wait until after the pick ordering is announced and then decide what to do. If the lakers get the 1st pick, then contact Magic in private and explain your loyalties. If they get pick 3, do not train with pick 1 and 2 clubs and refuse to hand over the medicals and let the agent explain to those franchises that he wants to be a laker. Telling the media he will only be a laker is a huge distraction for Lonzo. If the lakers get 1st or 2nd pick and they reject him, it will be very embarrassing for him. If they miss out altogether, then clubs will wonder where his loyalty lies and fans might feel less connected with him.

Seeing some footage of Fultz he reminds me a bit of John Wall. I'm not sure how D'angelo fits in the picture if we get Fultz, though I do think Fultz has a silky smooth game and has great potential. Getting Fullz has to mean putting D'angelo on the trading block. Though keep in mind what Fultz is doing in college, D'angelo has demonstrated the ability to do in actual NBA games against the cream of the crop(though not consistently).

I really think we benefit trading the pick like others stated. Ball reminds me of Zach Lavine with a nice shot. I'm not too sure how his game will translate to the NBA. Fultz is the obvious choice if we keep the pick. But if we know we can't get Fultz I think we should definitely trade the 1-3 pick and use that to secure Paul George.

My logic is we could have two elite two-way players in Ingram and Paul George once Ingram starts getting consistent. That is nuts, and they'll more than makeup for any defensive deficiencies we have perimeter wise. I still believe Ingram is special. And after seeing his 22 point game today which looked pretty effortless there I would want to pair him with Paul George.

If we get Paul George it will be easier to convince other stars to come to LA should we have the cap and assets to get it done too.

Don't Ingram and George play the same position?

Ingram and George can play a few positions. I think Bird had PG play PF early on as well. Ingram can play 1-3, he's shown he's quite capable of running the offense and making the right play. He's got good court vision and good passing skills and he's very unselfish.

Yeah...I buy that. I think the two of them could sorta hold up the SG / SF 'fort' so to speak.

I know this is not a favorite option but as an organization you have to seriously consider trading the pick but only after a thorough due diligence on each candidate's potential if we get the top 3 pick. Hear me out...

I love what Sacramento did during last draft pick night. They traded the #8 pick for #13, #28, draft rights to Bogdan Bogdanovic, and a 2020 second round pick. All these assets for the #8 pick which turned out to be high upside but also a high bust candidate in Marquiss Chriss. With the top 3 pick, I think the demand would be off the chart and we could still get the necessary PG in DSJ and a few other assets.

This year alone Chicago has 2 first rounders, Portland has 3 and even Brooklyn has 2 (although both are late picks). If we get the top 3 pick then we will lose 2017 & 2018 second rounders (Orlando), 2018 first rounder (Philly) so adding assets this year plus the next two years would be good for us.

Just a thought.

No you don't trade the pick unless Westbrook or a Harden calibre playing are coming back to us in return.

If we keep the pick, I'll trade it to dump both Deng and Mozgov.
