Lakers down by 3 at half time against Charlotte and the fans on the lakers side are getting all excited with Ingram's 6 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists in 20 minutes. I hope they to get a win so the suns have a two-game buffer.

Lakers are so ass. Brandon Ingram is honestly terrible at basketball.

The Lakers are really really bad. The Suns have actually been playing a little better lately, they eventually will surpass the Lakers. We'll need that luck big-time in the lottery.

The good news is though, the Lakers suck because all their young prospects really are not good at all, so they will be terrible again next year and their pick is unprotected. They will be one of the 5 worst teams in the NBA next year easily, so all will not be for naught. That said, I still want that pick this year just to have it over with.

Good Tank night so far. The Mavericks nearly came back as well.

The Kings/Nets is rather huge, I don't assume the Nets can end the losing streak, but would be nice.

Nets played 12 people at least 5 minutes in the first half which seems impossible.

Very good night in the end. Pelicans and TWolves pull big upsets, Heat stomp us, Knicks get a win (though prob slightly better if ORL won), and the Nets beat up on the Kings. If only the Mavs had held onto their lead, would've been a near-perfect night.

There are about 5 or 6 teams all bunched up within a game or less of each other in the lotto standings, and it's hard to think the Kings won't finish with the worst record of all of them. If I had to project now, I think the Kings finish with the 5th or 6th odds.

Because after those teams, the next tier are the teams bunched in at 22 wins being the Sixers and Magic. Hard to think the Kings will slip past both of those teams, although it is possible. The Kings are really bad, but the Magic are terrible too. And the Sixers have a large amount of road games remaining, so they will probably lose the far majority of their games too. Plus the schedule is pretty tough.

So my prediction is Sixers finish with 4th in the lottery and the Kings finish 6th. That would give us just under a 21% chance for the top pick total, 2nd best overall odds.

I'll go:

Nets
Lakers
Suns
Sixers
Magic
Kings

Those are the odds for 4th and 5th last, according to tankathon.

4th: 11.9%
5th: 8.8%
6th: 6.3%

Luke Walton, DLo and Ingram at the UCLA/Washington match today. Be funny if the pick conveys.

I really like the fact that, given the injuries and non-future Okafor has in this team (league?), we still have a chance to add 3 allstar calibre guys the next 3 drafts.

But we really cannot screw this up anymore.

We only have Saric (and Simmons) as young pieces on this team. Okafor has no future, Noel is gone. Embiid is probably never going to be healthy for a whole season.

So:
Simmons
Saric (bench player)
2017 pick (Jonathan Isaac)
2018 LA pick (center: Ayton or Bamba)
2019 SAC pick (BPA)

Than we can still have a nice core going further.

But Embiid makes us a contender

Lakers are blatantly tanking to keep their pick. Hopefully they still lose it. Probably will finish second since they aren't even trying to win.

The Lakers will definitely be in the second spot in the lottery.

Would be pretty cool to see the Lakers be the first modern NBA team to run a 3-2 zone defense.

Ball, Russell and Ingram all have great length but all of them lack the size and strength to actually defend anyone, man-up.

It'd be cool in that they would lose a lot of basketball games and we would get a sweet pick.

PHX needs upgrade their tank because LA is going full Rommell right now. Funny how theres zero outrage when LA does it 3 years in a row.

Would be the best thing for Russell. In my opinion, he's a shooting guard, not a point. He passes when he can't get his own shot, not to get you yours in the best spot possible. Ball passes the ball forward so quickly, D'Angelo would love to cherrypick, leak out and receive those passes.
